Shanghai Zhongshun Hengxin Network has launched public beta for their new side-scrolling action RPG, Ultraman: Hero Beyond Time, on both Android and iOS in China. This is an officially licensed title based on the classic Ultraman IP.

Ultraman: Hero Beyond Time is a 3D side-scrolling action RPG that brings the classic Ultraman experience to life. In this game, you can play as iconic Ultra heroes, chain spectacular combos, and use special skills across diverse PvE and PvP modes.
As someone who has fond memories of Ultraman, I’m thrilled to see new titles, Ultraman Puzzle Shuwatch!!, and this one. Even better, there are over 50 fan-favorite Ultra Heroes to choose from, each with multiple forms. I’m especially excited to try Tiga’s composite form and Mebius’s ray.
You can even unlock iconic forms, such as Shining Form, Courage Form, and Ultimate Form, to relive the cinematic battles via Ultraman vs. Monsters PVE gameplay. Apart from that, you can build your own Ultraman team to fight across timelines to protect the peace of the universe.
Take on legendary monsters, try different skills, and more
The action mechanics also look fun, offering levitation, dodge, stun effects, blocks, and more. You can also experiment with pursuit, support, and call-out skills while battling hundreds of classic monsters like Beledora, Zolim, King Orb Mengs, and more.
With rich content, familiar heroes, intense boss challenges, story levels, monster chases, plasma trials, advanced fighting mechanics, and more, the game shows solid promise. I hope the game launches globally soon enough, as I’m eager to try it out.
Ultraman: Hero Beyond Time is now available as a public beta in China on both Android and iOS. You can now try the game via the Chinese TapTap version. There are no details for a global launch yet. Stay tuned for more updates!
