The mobile gaming scene in July 2025 continued its strong momentum, with several major titles holding their ground while a few surprise entries shook up the charts. Compared to June, this month saw a noticeable surge in older favourites climbing back and several games making impressive jumps in both download and revenue rankings. Let’s dive into the highlights and see which games came out on top this July.
Top Mobile Games by Downloads for July 2025
Folks, we have a new #1! Roblox surged to the top, climbing one spot to lead the chart with nearly 37 million downloads. After being at the top for the last 6 months straight, Block Blast! slipped to second but still pulled in a massive 26.4 million downloads.
This was followed by Subway Surfers staying steady at third with 18.1 million. The biggest leap was by Tile Explorer – Triple Match, jumping 17 spots to claim fourth with nearly 16 million downloads, thanks to the match-three craze continuing to gain traction.
Pizza Ready! and the latest launch from Outfit7, My Talking Tom Friends 2 took fifth and sixth, while Vita Mahjong climbed impressively to seventh with 14 million. Classics like Ludo King and Garena’s hits Free Fire and Free Fire MAX held strong mid-table spots with the latter two split by Royal Kingdom.
PUBG MOBILE reentered the download list at 13th place with over 10.8 million, while hyper-casual games like Music Piano 7, Moto Race Go, Hole.io, closed out the top 15, showing just how wide the appeal still is across genres and playstyles.
Top Mobile Games by Revenue for July 2025
The top three revenue earners didn’t switch places too much. Honor of Kings continued its dominance at 1st place with a massive $165 million, followed by Last War: Survival making a climb to second with $153 million, beating and switching places with Whiteout Survival, which brought in $127 million.
Royal Match held steady at fourth with $126 million, while MONOPOLY GO! pushed up a notch to fifth, pulling in $109.4 million. PUBG Mobile came in close behind with $109.2 million, climbing one position up from June rankings.
Honkai: Star Rail, after missing out on the June rankings, jumped 29 positions to eighth, earning $79.5 million. Games like Coin Master, Clash Royale, and Kingshot all had solid revenue months, while Pokémon GO dropped five spots but still pulled in a respectable $47.8 million.
While Gossip Harbour stood strong at 12th, Roblox and Delta Force completed the list with 14th and 15th, while the latter saw immense growth with a 27-place jump. eFootball 2025 also barely missed out on the Top 15 rankings with $43.8 million at 16th.
