- Familiar names such as Supercell, NetEase Games, and Scopely all maintained Top 10 rankings.
Once again, I’m back with the list of the top mobile game publishers, and April 2025 was yet another month full of surprises and strong performances. While some publishers are proving to be unstoppable, others are making quiet moves up the ranks. Let’s take a look at how things panned out.
Best Mobile Game Publishers by Downloads for April 2025
Azur Games continues its reign as the download king, closing out April with a massive 115.9 million installs. That’s four months in a row now where they’ve topped the chart, proving their hyper-casual strategy is still a winning formula.
BabyBus grabbed second place again with 82.8 million downloads, holding steady in the kids’ market. Miniclip, after a big leap in March, stuck around in the top three with 79.5 million downloads. Voodoo and SayGames claimed the fourth and fifth spots in downloads, respectively, putting up similar numbers from last month.

Outfit7, the creators of the Talking Tom franchise, raked in 51 million downloads while Supercent once again made the top 10 with 43.8 million, while ABI Games Studio, Hungry Games Studio, Crazylabs, and 1SOFT all kept going strong.
Interestingly, Tencent Games landed at 15th place with 32.2 million downloads, a slight drop from March. While they dominate in revenue, it seems they’re slipping a bit in the popularity contest, at least in terms of install numbers.
Best Mobile Game Publishers by Revenue for April 2025
Now, onto the money side of things. No surprise here as Tencent Games continued to dominate revenue charts, pulling in a colossal $527.1 million in April. That’s a solid bump compared to March and shows no signs of slowing down, with four consecutive top finishes this year, and that too, by a large margin.
Century Games once again proved its consistency, holding second place with $171.4 million, followed by FunPlus with $160.3 million. Both studios have solid lineups that keep players coming back and spending.

Scopely and King came in strong with $153.2 million and $149.3 million, respectively, jumping up the rankings and continuing to ride the wave of long-running hits like MONOPOLY GO! and Candy Crush Saga. Dream Games, Playrix, and NetEase Games also showed steady earnings to complete the Top 10.
Other familiar names rounding out the top 15 included Cognosphere Pte. Ltd ($114 million), Supercell ($95.5 million), Moon Active ($88.6 million), and The Pokémon Company ($78.1 million). Bandai Namco got back into the rankings after missing out in March.
SuperPlay held onto its spot, Microfun Limited took up 14th as a new entry, pushing the likes of Niantic and Peak Games off the chart.
