- Crossfire: Legends is a mobile adaptation and part of Tencent’s popular Crossfire IP.
- The game was previously cancelled but has now returned with an Alpha test and plans for future tests.
- Recruitment for the test is now open in the Philippines, with the test starting from June 5.
Smilegate Entertainment has announced an Alpha Test for Crossfire: Legends, set to run on Android from June 5 to June 19 in the Philippines. Co-developed with Tencent Games, the mobile version was launched globally in May 2018, but was later shut down, continuing only in China.
Get ready to experience the exciting, fast-paced shooter action
This surely came as a surprise, but Crossfire: Legends, the classic first-person shooter, is making a comeback after so many years. Based on Tencent’s popular franchise, this title was packed with fast-paced action, fan-favorite game modes, and more, and we can expect enhanced content with this.

For those unfamiliar, Crossfire originally launched on PC back in 2007, and quickly became one of the most played FPS titles worldwide. It grew into a global franchise, branching out into various platforms, including mobile, with Crossfire: Legends, CrossFire: Warzone, and Codename CF0 (cancelled?).
How to apply for the Crossfire: Legends Alpha Test
Now, the exciting part is that the game is returning to mobile, after operating solely in China for all these years. You’ll soon be able to jump into similar action, along with possible new elements, as Crossfire: Legends is launching an alpha test on Android from June 5 to June 19.
If you’re from the Philippines, here’s how you can sign up for the upcoming test:
- First, head over to the game’s official website.
- Next, tap on SIGN UP.
- Now, select the options and hit Start.
- This will open the Alpha Test Recruitment questionnaire.
- Fill out the questionnaire properly with accurate details.
- Provide your Philippines-based mobile number and email address.
- Lastly, complete the captcha and you’re done.
If you’re selected for the test, you’ll receive the confirmation via email or phone. You can also opt to provide your WhatsApp number to receive the confirmation, and it’s optional. That said, I’m very excited for this revival, and with more tests planned for the future, we can expect a lot from the game.
