Tencent Games’ Roco Kingdom: World lets you bond with cute creatures and explore diverse biomes, begins pre-registration on iOS in China

Tencent Games has now opened pre-registration for their pet-collection MMORPG, Roco Kingdom: World, now available on iOS in China. Developed by MoreFun Studio, it was first announced in 2022, underwent a beta test in China in August 2024, and the title was later renamed in December 2024.

Tame Rocos and explore the magical world of Roco Kingdom: World

Roco Kingdom: World is an open-world MMORPG set in the vibrant Roco Kingdom universe, home to charming creatures called Rocos. In this magical world, you’ll play as a freshman, forming bonds with the elves and embarking on new, exciting adventures.

Here, you can explore an open world where elves coexist, and look forward to a fresh Roco Kingdom experience. If you didn’t know already, the game is based on the popular Roco Kingdom IP, which originally launched as a browser game by Mr. Enzo Zhang in China and quickly became a hit.

Explore diverse biomes and glide or ride on your tamed Rocos

Watching all the beta gameplay clips on social media, I’m excited to try this unique mix of classic Pokémon-style creature collecting with Genshin Impact-style exploration. Along your adventure, you can bond with the creatures, take part in battles, explore diverse biomes, and also gain recognition.

Overall, the game looks super fun with adorable characters, charming visuals, creature-taming mechanics, open-world exploration, delightful soundtracks, and more. You can even glide or ride on your tamed creatures, which looks very cool. You sit on your Rocos’ hand while riding.

Roco Kingdom: World has opened pre-registration on iOS in China, and you can now pre-register for the game via the App Store. According to its listing, the game is expected to launch on December 31, 2025. There are no details available yet on Android pre-registration or global launch. Stay tuned for updates!
