iDreamSky has kicked off a technical beta test for their next-gen anime shooter, Strinova, on Android in Southeast Asia. First revealed at Tencent SPARK 2024, the game is set to launch this year on multiple platforms. It is already available on PC.
Get ready to experience the next-gen gameplay of Strinova on mobile
Strinova is an anime-style, competitive tactical shooter featuring its unique Stringify mechanic. Set in a multidimensional realm called Strinova, you can play as Superstring Agents from various factions and use the Stringify ability to switch between 3D and 2D forms to dominate the battlefield.
As someone who has played a lot of Valorant, I’m excited for this title, although Valorant mobile is also on the way. The game even has similar roles, like Duelist, Sentinel, Support, Controller, and Vanguard. I’m also looking forward to its diverse game modes like Escort, Team Arena, Demolition, and more.
It’s already available on PC via Steam, where it received mostly positive reviews, and that just hypes me even more. What got my attention, which even Valorant doesn’t have, is the Dormitory system. With this, you can bond with your favorite Agents via interactions and gifts, which is a great addition.
How to participate in the Strinova Technical beta test
If you’ve been selected, you can now experience Strinova on mobile with this technical beta test, considering you’re from the SEA region. This limited deletion test won’t include paid content, and recruitment for the test is now live. You can enjoy the game until July 3.
To know if you’re selected, you can check your Gmail account for the invitation email with which you applied for the test. Plus, you can also join their official Discord community for further test information. In the email, you can find detailed instructions on how to access the test version.
While it does not reflect the final experience and quality of the game’s technical beta version, I’m excited to see more of it. The devs is working on improving the overall game experience on iOS, and support for it will be added in future. You can also pre-register for future open beta via the game’s official website.
