YoMioBeYoung has announced an upcoming closed beta test for their turn-based RPG, Scarlet Tide: ZeroERA, for both Android and iOS in China. First revealed back in November 2024 with a release plan for 2025 or later, the game has now opened recruitment for the test.

If you’re unaware, Scarlet Tide: ZeroERA is a horizontal turn-based 2.5D RPG that blends sandbox exploration and tactical battles, and features young male characters. Here, you can team up with them, take part in strategic battles, and enjoy rich character interactions.
The story unfolds in a post-apocalyptic world where these Shota characters are the last survivors of a mysterious force that nearly wiped out humanity over a thousand years, marking the first year of Qi Ling. You can look forward to unlocking rare Shota characters via Gacha mechanics for battles.
How to sign up for the Scarlet Tide: ZeroERA closed beta test
The good news is that Scarlet Tide: ZeroERA is heading to a closed beta test (CBT) in mainland China on both Android and iOS. This small-scale test aims to gather player feedback and refine existing content, as well as plan future content to optimise gameplay continuously.
Here’s how you can apply for Scarlet Tide: ZeroERA’s upcoming CBT:
- First, tap on the recruitment questionnaire.
- Then fill out the form with the necessary details.
- You’ll have to add your Phone number and WeChat/QQ number.
- First Submit, and you’re done.
Do note that you’ll have to sign a non-disclosure agreement before joining the test. If you’re selected for the test, confirmation will be sent via the WeChat/QQ number you provided in the questionnaire. That said, the CBT will offer an in-development version and won’t represent the final quality of the game.
