- Sakuna: Hinuka Junreitan blends rice farming with exploration and RPG combat.
- Though details are limited, the game showcases Sakuna in a new outfit and introduces a new character, Hinuka.
- It is unrelated to Sakuna Chronicles: Kokorowa and the Gears of Creation, a spin-off of Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin.
TOHO Games and Edelweiss have announced their new rice cultivation sim battle RPG, Sakuna: Hinuka Junreitan, set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC. Developed by G2 Studios, the game will offer item-based microtransactions and won’t be a premium title.
Get ready to farm, fight, and explore in Sakuna: Hinuka Junreitan
Sakuna: Hinuka Junreitan blends rice cultivation sim with exploration and RPG-style combat. This new title has no relation to Sakuna Chronicles: Kokorowa and the Gears of Creation, which is a spin-off of Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, developed by Marvelous and Edelweiss.
I’m excited to see how the Sakuna franchise continues to grow, especially after the success of Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, where you can use farm tools in battle and power up through rice cultivation. If you didn’t know, this IP started with this ARPG sim in 2020.
Sakuna returns with a new ally and a new look
In this one, a new character named Hinuka has joined the cast, voiced by Machico, while Naomi Oozora returns as Sakuna once more. However, apart from Sakuna’s new outfit and Hinuka’s reveal, there’s not much information revealed yet by the devs.
A teaser is out now, along with the game’s official website and X (formerly known as Twitter) account, so all we have to do or can do right now is wait for more updates on the game.
Sakuna: Hinuka Junreitan is set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC. There’s currently no release date announced for the game. You can check their official website for more details!
