WEBTOON Entertainment Inc. and Dark Horse Comics have joined hands to give Plants vs. Zombies, the beloved franchise from PopCap Games, a new comic adaptation. This, along with four major IPs like The Witcher, will debut on WEBTOON’s platform in the second half of 2025.

Plants vs. Zombies, the widely popular tower defense RTS title, is making its way to WEBTOON, joining a growing line of beloved big names like The Witcher, Critical Role, Cyberpunk 2077, and Nickelodeon’s The Legend of Korra.
For those new to WEBTOON, it is a global platform renowned for its extensive library of digital comics, specifically designed for easy mobile reading. Controlled by Naver Corporation, this entertainment platform has become a global hub for hits like Lookism, The Mafia Nanny, Omniscient Reader, and more.

Coming back to Plants vs. Zombies, it has joined the ongoing collaboration between WEBTOON Entertainment Inc. and Dark Horse Comics, which brought Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender to the platform. As someone who reads a lot of webtoons, I’m excited for this one.
