Netmarble has opened pre-registration for Game of Thrones: Kingsroad with a global launch expected on May 21, 2025. The highly anticipated open-world RPG is getting closer to launch, and you can now register for Android, iOS, and PC platforms and also earn exclusive in-game rewards.
An official adaptation of the blockbuster American drama series, the game was first announced back in 2022 and was unveiled a couple of years later at the G-STAR 2024 event. We did try our hands on the game thanks to the recent Closed Beta test, and the first impressions are positive.
Explore a vast world in Westeros filled with iconic locations
In Kingsroad, you step into Westeros as a brand-new character rather than a familiar figure from the show. You explore a vast world, battle using combos and abilities, and customize your character with skill trees and equipment.
The game features a dynamic combat system with three different classes, allowing the use of swords, bows, throwing knives, and more. Battles require the strategic use of abilities, while exploration takes you through iconic locations. The game also supports cross-play between PC and mobile.
As I am writing this down, the pre-registration for the game is underway, and the launch date has been confirmed. You can access the official website to pre-register, and on the storefront, players on mobile can pre-register via their respective Google Play or App Stores to experience the game on May 21, 2025.
Pre-registering grants you the Westeros Welcome Gift, which includes in-game currency, battle supplies, and character emojis. Additional rewards, such as recharge tickets, nameplate frames, and outfit dyes, can be earned by signing up through the respective storefronts.
