NCSOFT has announced that their anime-style action RPG, LIMIT ZERO BREAKERS, is set to launch globally in 2026 on Android, iOS, and PC. Developed in collaboration with Vic Game Studios and Kadokawa, the game was initially introduced as BREAKERS: Unlock the World before the name change.
Experience a playable anime with cinematic cutscenes full of emotion and energy
LIMIT ZERO BREAKERS is a real-time ARPG with anime-style visuals and intense boss hunts. Set in Seraphia, you play as a Breaker, teaming up with two other players to take down massive enemies in 3-player raids and uncover the secrets of the floating islands.
The story unfolds in a world shaped by gods and ruled by angels, where the legendary Archives of the Gods vault is said to grant any wish. A Breaker girl aboard the airship Weaverwhale soon meets a boy with no memory, and you can enjoy their journey unfolding via cinematic cutscenes and emotional arcs.
Master precise dodges, activate Break Mode, and unleash elemental reactions
Here, you can assemble a team of characters, each with a unique fighting style, to battle massive monsters across ancient dungeons in search of the Library of the Gods. That said, I’m eager to try precise dodges, parries, and even activate the Break Mode, which triggers cinematic finishers.
I’m especially excited about unleashing explosive elemental reactions without limits. You can even combine opposing or harmonizing elements to create powerful skill chains. Overall, the game looks incredibly promising, with visuals by MAPPA, cinematic cutscenes, a rich story, intense raids, and more.
LIMIT ZERO BREAKERS is scheduled to launch globally in 2026 on Android, iOS, and PC. If you’re eager for this one, you can wishlist it on Steam, and it will also be showcased at the Tokyo Game Show 2025. You can visit their official website for more information.
