Battleship Mini-Game Feature in MONOPOLY GO!
Battleship seems to bring a turn-based twist where you go head-to-head with other players on a grid-style board. You’ll start by placing your ships, dragging, rotating, and locking them into position, before taking turns to attack.
Each hit or miss is shown through colored pegs, which are distributed as red for hits, white for misses. Sinking full ships will earn you tickets, the main event currency. There’s more to it, too: hidden treasure bottles might give you extra rewards, while mines can mess up your game by costing you a turn.
If you’re confident, you can raise the stakes with a “Bet Up” option. Tickets are expected to be used for themed rewards or to hit milestone targets, just like in past Carnival-style events.
There also seems to be a tracking system for battle streaks, match reports, and even a queue to line up multiple battles if your opponent’s taking too long. While there’s no launch date yet, the feature looks nearly ready.
