IGG.COM, known for Lords Mobile, Game of Sky, and more, has announced that its latest city-building RTS sim, Fate War, is set to launch this year. The game, previously held beta tests as Rebirth of Glory and Ruins War, is now scheduled for a global launch on August 4, 2025.
Build, battle, and lead your tribe through a mythical world in Fate War
Fate War blends city-building, strategy, roguelike mechanics, and RPG thrill. Set in an uncharted mythical world torn by Ragnarok, you play as your tribe’s Chieftain, responsible for guiding and keeping your people safe in a land haunted by Blackforged, rival tribes, and spirits.

What draws me in is the idea of building a settlement from the ground up on a remote island, managing every citizen’s life, jobs, and even relationships, and mainly watching their stories evolve over generations. The game also features a day-night cycle, reminding me of Nightfall: Kingdom Frontier TD.
Deploy and manage various soldier types, utilize the Trade and Auction system, and more
You’ll also get to lead a powerful team of Commanders and Lieutenants into real-time battles, with four soldier types to deploy. On top of that, there’s a Trade and Auction system through Tribe Bounty, along with a wide variety of cosmetic items like territory decorations, hero skins, chat boxes, and more.
From roguelike runs, fun settlement management, to portrait and landscape modes, realistic weather, dynamic day-night cycles, exquisite heroes, tactical battles, and more, Fate Wars looks very promising. I’ll surely try it out when it launches, and meanwhile, you can check out IGG’s other title, Frozen War.
Fate War is set to launch this year on both Android and iOS. You can now pre-register for the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store. We can expect the game to release on August 4, according to the App Store’s listing.
