Gravity’s Ragnarok M: Classic Global set to expand beyond SEA, begins closed beta test this August

After years of requests, the game is finally launching beyond SEA region, with an expected release on September 3 per App Store listing.

Gravity Interactive, Inc. has announced that its MMORPG, Ragnarok M: Classic Global, is set to launch a closed beta test on August 1 for both Android and iOS. The game previously opened a closed beta test in the SEA Region, followed by its launch there in February.

Ragnarok M: Classic Global is an anime-style MMORPG based on the beloved Ragnarok franchise. In this game, there is only one currency called Zeny, and you can get all items purely through gameplay.

I appreciate that the game doesn’t feature in-game shops, allowing you to focus entirely on the adventure and overall gameplay experience. There are no paid gachas, no exclusive top-up items, and no hidden monetization traps.

I am also excited about the Offline Battle mode, which lets your character grind and earn rewards when you are not actively playing the game. On top of that, the Card Crafting system allows you to gather materials and craft powerful cards every week, with increased drop rates.
