Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is back with another packed story update, this time titled We Are Absolute coming this August 7, 2025. The latest update introduces powerful new SSR characters, new events loaded with rewards, themed costumes, and some exciting additions.

New SSR Characters: Emma, Eunhwa, and Vesti

This update introduces three upgraded SSR characters, Emma, Eunhwa, and Vesti, each powered with new abilities, updated visuals, and distinct fire-coded roles. Emma and Eunhwa lead the charge with support and firepower boosts, respectively, while Vesti offers massive AoE potential with True Damage effects.

Each of them will be available for Special Recruit throughout August, with Emma starting from August 7, Eunhwa joining on August 14, and Vesti arriving on August 21. You can temporarily try them in the Union Shooting Range during their recruit windows.

The We Are Absolute update brings in a new limited-time event with story missions, resource farming, and boss stages tied into the narrative. This time, you’ll be heading into the ruins of an abandoned research facility to uncover secrets that tie into the Absolute storyline. Along the way, you’ll earn upgrade materials, gems, and other valuable resources.

These story chapters, along with Challenge Stages, reward players with Recruit Vouchers and upgrade materials. You’ll also find JINX PLAYER added to the Archives, and several login events like TACTICAL UP and NOT TACTICAL offering additional goodies for logging in consistently.

New Costumes and Visual Updates

Alongside the new units, two special costumes are making their debut. Eunhwa’s Day Off look can be unlocked through the 21-day login event NOT TACTICAL, while Exia’s Hacker Rabbit skin is available via the September Mission Pass.

Past costumes from previous events are also back in rotation, available either via gacha or direct purchase in the shop. Plus, some UI updates and visual improvements have been rolled out to polish the experience, so we can expect better animations during battles and a cleaner layout in menus.

Archive Update, Gameplay Challenges, and More

On the gameplay side, new Campaign Chapters 39 and 40 are now available, as well as Lost Sector EX11 and EX12. A new Solo Raid Museum feature lets you rematch past raid bosses like Mother Whale and Ultra.

This month’s live content includes Union Raid, Coordinated Operation, Solo Raid Season 28, and Champion Arena Seasons 10 and 11. If you’re into decorating your profile, expect new objects, titles, and lobby backgrounds too.
