Let me give you a full overview of the anniversary celebration!
Free Fire celebrates 8th Anniversary with Infinity-themed update and exclusive rewards
Fire Fire, one of the most popular BR titles in the mobile gaming scene, just turned 8, and it’s celebrating this milestone in style. Now live through July 13, the Infinity and Celebration update brings new content, the game’s first-ever customizable lobby, Infinity Items, limited-time rewards, new gameplay, and more.

Leading the lineup of anniversary rewards is the new Beyond Infinity Male Bundle, a cool, train conductor-inspired outfit that goes with the Infinity theme. You can unlock it by completing specific in-game missions.
That’s not all, as there’s also the exclusive Gloo Wall – 8th Anniversary, a fan-voted reward, which you can claim by teaming up with friends in the returning Gloo Wall Relay. Moreover, there are also additional exclusive rewards, like the 8th Anniversary emote and battle card.
Free Fire unveils the new Solara map as part of the 8th Anniversary celebrations
The best part of the anniversary is the launch of Solara, a new, fast-paced map, with a stunning, light-futuristic aesthetic. To top it off, it’s also the game’s first map in three years.
Some might have already heard about it, as Solara made its global debut during the Free Fire World Series Southeast Asia 2025 on May 16, providing everyone a first look at the gameplay during the tournament broadcast.

Garena knows how to throw an anniversary bash. I love this map already, with its vibrant blend of natural landscapes and futuristic urban design. With the map spanning 1,400 x 1,400 meters, you can explore diverse environments and enjoy your battles.
From The Hub and Studio to the jacaranda-filled Bloomtown, each area provides a different gameplay experience and vibe. And if you haven’t checked it out yet, I must say, the twin-peak mountain at the center looks stunning.
Alongside this new map comes dynamic combat and new gameplay innovation
If you think that’s just all Solara has to offer, you’re in for a surprise. This new map also brings a variety of features designed to offer a fresh experience to casual players and enhance competitive matches for pro players.
1. Full-map Slide system
I must say that this new full-map slide system is going to change the game in the coming times. It lets you zip across different areas of the map quickly, thanks to its high-speed transport system. This will make your rotations faster and more strategic for sure.

Additionally, you can also take advantage of the on-rail Gloo Wall shields to protect yourself while rotating, and the enemy detection feature with colour-changing alerts to come up with new strategies on the fly.
2. Dynamic Weather System
Solara has also introduced a new dynamic weather system that enhances the visual aspect of the map. Thanks to its seamless integration with iconic landmarks like Bloomtown, Funfair, TV Tower, and more, they now transition from day to dusk as each match of yours progresses.

While this doesn’t drastically impact your gameplay, its smooth lightning shift surely enhances the atmosphere. Moreover, it subtly changes how you see and engage in key locations, making them more visible. I’m loving the immersive touch it adds to the combat.
3. Interactive Zones and Easter Eggs

Now, if you’re someone like me, who also loves exploration and fun activities, you’re going to enjoy the interactive zones available across the map. Plus, there are also hidden Easter Eggs for you to discover in key areas like the Kelly Show scene at TV Tower, where you can collect 8th Anniversary Tokens.
Battle for Infinity adds an exciting twist to the classic BR action
The 8th Anniversary update also brings Battle for Infinity, a revamped version of the classic battle royale mode. You can now enter the battlefield with stylish, Infinity-themed trains, replacing the usual airplanes. Spread across 8 stations, only two will be active any time, each one claimed by a single team.

By securing one of these trains, you’ll unlock access to the Infinity Ring, an exclusive combat zone full of high-tier loot, similar to the flying castle-like plane in Call of Duty Mobile. Here, you’ll find useful Infinity items, which include unlimited Gloo Wall, Revival Cards, and Upgrade Chips.
Clash Squad adds anniversary-exclusive Infinity Rounds and rewards
Clash Squad has also joined the party with two exciting anniversary-exclusive additions. First, you can unlock Infinity Items like Gloo Maker, Inhalers, and Upgrade Chip by earning points. Second, there are the new Special Infinity Train Rounds, which come in three variations, each offering unique buffs.

You’ll encounter one of these three Special Infinity Train Round variations:
- The Boost Express brings enhancements for movement speed, damage, and HP recovery.
- You can collect new Infinity weapons from the Weapon Express.
- Lastly, Gloo Wall Express delivers valuable Gloo Wall fragments, which you can use to replenish their Gloo Wall reserves.
Free Fire introduces its first-ever customizable train lobby
The game is grandly celebrating its 8th Anniversary. And, one more standout feature is the new fully customizable train lobby. Now, you can decorate your own train space with personal achievement boards, themed train skins, sky, and ground customizations, and unique visual effects.

What makes it even better is the built-in AI tool that lets you create unique train designs by integrating your character outfits, which is a cool addition.
More Infinity-themed anniversary rewards via Luck Royale
You can look forward to more collectibles in the Luck Royale Events, which include:
- The legendary outfit, Top Criminal (Golden), features reactive elements that change color and texture as you run in-game.
- Then there’s the first-ever P90 Evo Gun, P90 Gilded Corrosion, which features enhanced visuals and effects.
- You can also obtain the new 8th Anniversary Unlimited Train-themed outfits, available with both male and female character bundles.
Free Fire 8th Anniversary Solarush! Event
And, of course, a big celebration like this won’t be complete without an exclusive event. But don’t worry, as the Solarush! Event is now live in-game to celebrate Free Fire’s 8th Anniversary and also the launch of Solara.

This event has introduced a dedicated interface packed with daily and special tasks. You can obtain unique animation effects, event-themed emotes, skyboard, parachute, and more by completing these challenges and also taking part in themed activities.
