Mythical Games‘ arcadey soccer title, FIFA Rivals, has announced a multi-year partnership with German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund (BVB), bringing official kits and player items from one of football’s most iconic clubs this August 18th.
Announced last November, FIFA Rivals has already been the talk of the town since its global launch in June, with Mythical Games bringing the exclusive FIFA license and branding, post the company’s rift with EA. FIFA Rivals had previously collaborated with the famous sportswear brand, adidas, back in June.
Put on your Dortmund kit and prepare to rock the Signal Iduna Park
Unlike other popular crossovers, the FIFA Rivals x Borussia Dortmund is set to be a proper in-game collaboration. As you step onto the in-game pitch, you will be suiting up in the official BVB kits to get the full vibes of the Signal Iduna Park! Also, you will rep the brand-new BVB emblem from your emblem bank.
As for the players, during August 18-24, you can get a free BVB player each day by just logging in. Additionally, Borussia Dortmund (BVB) players, including Kobel, Schlotterbeck, Guirassy, Adeyemi, and others, are going to be available as part of the core collection, with new signings like Jobe Bellingham arriving for a limited time in the Fresh Ink drop.
Furthermore, the collaboration is not limited to the game; there will also be special giveaways, including signed jerseys, official Dortmund merchandise, authentic digital collectibles, and even matchday tickets.
