KONAMI has announced a major eFootball 2025 campaign just for India and its fans, and it’s packed with exciting events, big names, and more. Running from August to October 2025, the campaign is themed around Independence Day and Diwali, leading up to a special Meet & Greet event in Mumbai this December 2025.

You’ll get the chance to participate in two big tournaments, the Independence Day Cup and the Diwali Cup. And the best part? You won’t be alone.
Cricket star KL Rahul, Indian football legend Sunil Chhetri, popular creator Focused Indian, cricketer Nitish Kumar Reddy, and actor Ahan Shetty are all part of the action. As a special treat, KONAMI has also teamed up with artist Santanu Hazarika for a surprise Independence Day collaboration.
The campaign doesn’t just stop at matches. There will be online challenges, quizzes, scrims, and community events happening on the eFootball India Discord server. Top performers in these events, including the most active community member, will be invited to the grand Meet & Greet in Mumbai. There are also cash prizes and cool in-game rewards up for grabs.
KONAMI’s eFootball General Producer Junichi Taya shared that India is one of the most exciting communities for eFootball, and added that “through a host of partnerships, we are leveraging some of the biggest names in Indian sport and culture with activations aimed at celebrating India. As the industry continues to grow in India, we are seeking to lead the way forward through eFootball”.
