The new season of eFootball 2026 is here, and boy, hasn’t it lit up our screens. There is so much new stuff that is live in the game, with multiple campaigns where we can collect a lot of rewards, and multiple packs available in the shop as well. Here’s everything you need to know about the update.
eFootball 2026 v5.0.0 Update and new Season overview
Start-Up Campaign
The Start-up Campaign is here to make the new season of eFootball special. Running from mid-August to early September, this update brings new features, events, and a lot of rewards for you to grab.
With this campaign, you can get manager Ruben Amorim, who comes with the new Link-up Play skill Aggressive Centring A. This tactic works when you set a Centrepiece and Key Man that match the required conditions, unlocking the manager’s special skill in matches.
To help you try it right away, you’ll also get Manchester United players who meet the conditions needed for this tactic. The update also adds the new Campaign Hub, where you can earn rewards by playing PvP or VS AI matches.
As you progress across Spaces, you’ll unlock prizes like Ruben Amorim, Highlight players such as Diogo Dalot and Joshua Zirkzee, stadium decorations, profile banners, Chance Deals, Booster and Skill Tokens, eFootball Coins, and plenty of Exp and GP to strengthen your Dream Team.
Logging in every day will give you even more: 150 eFootball Coins, skill and position tokens, plus a big boost of Exp and GP over the campaign period. In the eFootball League PvP mode, you can also fight for a special Season 1 reward: Isco as a Show Time player, available only for a limited time.
The campaign brings several events to keep you busy. The Starter Tour Event is perfect for practicing your skills against AI and earning Nominating Contracts, Tokens, eFootball Coins, Exp, and GP.
Tiranga Campaign
The Tiranga Campaign is now live in eFootball 2025, bringing a special India-themed celebration for a limited time. This event is available only to players in India and offers exclusive rewards, including a unique strip and a stadium element.
By logging in during the campaign, you can claim special rewards like the kit from the collab with Santanu and Highlight: India players. The campaign also includes themed objectives, where completing challenges will unlock more Highlight: India players.
New Packs have been added
Well, the big news about the event is also about new players. The New Nominating Contracts and Summer Transfers Selection pack has been added, which I will review soon.
About the two new packs, we have Messi and Yamal as the features. We also have the Mourinho manager in the shop, who is a decent pick that comes with Quick Counter proficiency and Link-Up play as well. Details about the pack are given below.

Alongside this pack, we also have two Starter Sets available in the game, featuring Manchester United cards in Silvestre and Ruud van Nistelrooij.
Rewards refresh
While you get a free Show Time Messi, without an ST skill, however, you can also notice there has been a refresh in the availability of players. Daily Game sees a reward refresh, presenting us with Eden Hazard at the very first hurdle. Raul and Rijkaard are also present as the Show Time options.
