eFootball 2026 could finally be giving us players something we have been waiting for a long time: Epic cards in the eFootball Points Shop. A recent leak suggests that Neymar, who continues to serve as the game’s ambassador, might be the first name available through points rather than coins.
A new section for Points Sets has appeared in the latest eFootball 2026 update
Confirmed by proefootball on Telegram, this is something interesting if you look at it, especially since Neymar didn’t receive his own 1800 coin Epic set earlier like Messi and Yamal received, leaving many to wonder if KONAMI was saving him for something special.
The update has now revealed a fresh section for eFootball Points Sets, and Neymar’s image has been spotted within that category. If true, this could open the door for a whole new way to get Epic cards, and honestly, this is something that’s needed: a new way of getting “better” cards.
For long-time fans of the series, this will feel like a throwback. Back in the PES days, Iconic Moments cards were the Epic equivalent, and I remember grinding hard to reach those points to redeem the player, and the shop used to get a nice refresh with new players, too. In contrast, eFootball so far has mostly relied on Featured cards.
Honestly, none of these cards would make it into the starting XI of our squads, unless you are very new to the game. If Neymar’s arrival in the Points Shop truly marks the beginning of Epic cards being more accessible, it could bring back that excitement many players have been missing.
While the exact price in points hasn’t been confirmed, it is safe to say that if in case, these rumours do come true, then expect the points to be somewhere around the 15,000 to 25,000 mark, which was the case during the IM cards.
