eFootball 2025 to introduce Thierry Henry, John Terry and other Legends according to Chinese version ads

More legends!

Story Highlights
  • Thierry Henry and John Terry are confirmed as new legends in eFootball 2025 via a Chinese ad.
  • The same ad also featured Cristiano Ronaldo, Zico, Totti, Owen, Messi, Neymar, and Yamal.

eFootball 2025 is continuing a dream licensing run after losing the Bayern Munich license last month. A new advertisement from the official Chinese version of eFootball 2025 has confirmed that Thierry Henry and John Terry are set to join the growing list of legends in the game.

Zidane’s data in eFootball was leaked earlier, though past leaks like Pele proved accurate

The promo, shared by NetEase Games, the game’s publisher in China, has quickly gained attention online, as it hints at some exciting arrivals for the upcoming season.

The ad also featured the name Cristiano Ronaldo alongside other well-known legends such as Zico, Totti, Owen, Torres, Luis Suarez, Messi, Neymar, and even the young sensation Lamine Yamal. With all these big names showing up in the ad, fans believe this confirms Henry and Terry as brand-new additions to the eFootball 2025 roster of legends.

While both Henry and Terry have appeared in older football titles, this is the first strong sign they’re coming to the eFootball version of the game. If you remember, the iconic PES 5 title had these two stars on the cover, and with this arrival, we can recreate the same.

It’s worth noting that Zinedine Zidane was teased in recent leaks earlier this month, but he hasn’t arrived yet in the game. However, earlier leaks for Pele and Puskas eventually turned out to be true; both legends appeared during the 30th Anniversary campaign.

The content of both games is the same, although the pack system and a few animations are different. Licensing remains the same across all versions, so there is no doubt that when eFootball 2026 launches in mid-August, we will get to see these two legends.
