Simply Sweet Games has announced the launch of their word puzzle adventure title, Criss Cross Castle, now available on both Android and iOS. The game is also set to launch on the Epic Games Store for Android at a later date.

Criss Cross Castle is a charming word puzzle adventure that lets you unlock the magic of words. You play either as Wanda, a spell-casting witch, or Pip, as a clever squire. Together, you’ll explore a mystical world full of secret scrolls, ancient artifacts, and recover missing words to save the citizens.
The story revolves around a villainous group known as the Illiterati, who have erased stories and knowledge from the Realm. Your mission is to solve clever word puzzles that help restore what was lost. Along the way, you’ll uncover hidden treasures, break curses, and open up new paths.
From mini-games to vocab quests, there’s always something new
As you move forward, the vocabulary challenges become more complex, helping you learn and grow while playing. I’m especially intrigued to try the mini-games and side-quests aside from the main journey. With the adaptive puzzle engine, every round will feel fresh and different to you.
Overall, the game looks very promising, with evolving word challenges, secret content, roguelite elements, optional storytelling, side quests, extra activities, and more. I think this one will be great for me to sharpen my vocabulary while enjoying the adorable gameplay.
