Coin Master, the blockbuster hit from Moon Active, has just gotten a new title under its belt, expanding the franchise. Titled Coin Master – Board Adventure, this is a new mix of dice and board strategy now available as a soft launch in select regions.
Complete card sets and trade with friends to earn rewards
Every roll moves you across a themed board filled with coin tiles, shields to protect your village, and raid spots to steal treasure from friends. The loot you collect can be used to upgrade buildings, unlock new villages, and reveal more elaborate boards, each with its own theme.
Collecting cards remains a big part of the fun. Completing card sets unlocks valuable rewards, and trading with friends makes finishing collections faster. Daily events and special bonuses keep the pace exciting, giving both casual and competitive players plenty of reasons to return.
Now, with the gameplay snippets and mechanics, it is pretty clear that this title is a direct competition to MONOPOLY GO! I know many players are familiar with the title, where we roll dice to move along the board as we collect cash, dice rolls, sticker packs, play mini-games, and attack other players.
With the blockbuster success of the title from Scopely, this title also aims to replicate the same. Both Coin Master and MONOPOLY GO are the respective companies’ highest earners every month, and with the new title, I could see a split in the audience, or maybe, help both do better with their titles.
About the soft launch of Coin Master – Board Adventure, the title is available to play in the Philippines and India. Both Android and iOS users from the region can access the title from the Google Play Store and App Store, respectively. Global release details are unavailable at the time of writing, so stay tuned.
