The Clashversary party is officially in full swing with the Splash Bash event in Clash of Clans this August 2025. Running from August 8 to August 29, 2025, this special event brings temporary troops, a brand-new currency, and new Hero Equipment as well. Here’s a full breakdown of the event, including how to progress, what rewards to expect, and other details.
Clash of Clans August 2025 ‘Splash Bash’ Event explained
Overview
As soon as the event goes live, players are greeted by the Archer Queen and introduced to the festive pool party theme. The main objective is to collect Phoenix Floaties by attacking Elixir storages and Town Halls during multiplayer battles.
You don’t need a 3-star win to collect the floaties, making this event perfect for quick snipe attacks using Sneaky Goblins, spells, or event troops. Collected floaties are placed on the Party Bench, which converts them into Splash Medals. These medals are used in the Trader Shop.
Event Progression
You begin the Splash Bash event with 400 free Splash Medals. The main objective is to collect 16,000 Phoenix Floaties through multiplayer battles to complete the free reward track, with an additional 8,000 floaties unlocking the bonus track.
Free-to-play players can earn up to 3,750 Splash Medals throughout the event, while those who purchase the Event Pass gain an extra 5,500 medals along with faster progression thanks to bonus floaties.
The free reward track includes 5,000 Shiny Ore, 400 Glowy Ore, four Mighty Morsel Magic Snacks, three Clan Castle Cakes, a Party Bench decoration, and an Epic Chest, which even has a chance to upgrade into a Legendary Chest. Event Pass holders receive additional rewards such as 600 Glowy Ore and 80 Starry Ore.
Trader Shop options
The Trader Shop gives you the option for Splash Medals to be exchanged for high-value items. If you’re playing for free, your top priority should be securing at least one epic hero equipment to avoid spending gems on it later.
This event features three epic items: the new Heroic Torch for the Grand Warden, the Action Figure, and the Spiky Ball. If you’ve already obtained the Action Figure or Spiky Ball from earlier events, picking up the Heroic Torch makes the most sense this time around.
For players more interested in cosmetics, it’s worth saving up for the Clashy Carving decoration. If you’re not interested in cosmetics and find yourself short on medals, the safest route is to invest in Glowy or Starry Ore, depending on your upgrade needs.
New Hero Equipment for Grand Warden: Heroic Torch
The spotlight item this time is the Heroic Torch. When activated, it lets nearby troops walk through walls, move faster, and take reduced damage. At level 1, the ability lasts 11 seconds, and at max, it can go over 20 seconds.
