Stone Golem Studios has announced the launch of Chronomon, a monster-taming RPG that is now available on Android, iOS, and PC for $9.99. Created by Nicholas Gorman, a solo dev, the game is also coming to consoles soon.
Dive into a retro pixel world, tame Pokémon-like creatures, and enjoy farm life
Chronomon is an offline RPG that blends monster-taming with a cozy farming sim, complemented by beautiful retro pixel art visuals. In this game, you can tame Pokémon-like creatures called Chronomon, build up your dream farm, and also explore the vast open world, filled with adventures and dangers.
You can train your adorable companions for tactical turn-based battles and use their powerful skills against monsters found in hidden glades. While this is exciting, I’m more intrigued to experience its Stardew Valley-like farming simulation gameplay, planting crops, raising animals, and more.
Explore various locations and embark on exciting quests
Beyond combat and farming with the help of the Chronomons, there’s a lot to explore, from forests and towns to dungeons and hidden glades. Along your journey, you can also try to uncover the secrets of the mysterious Epoch and more by completing quests.
The game looks very fun and full of potential, coming from a single dev, offering a variety of Chronomon, open-world adventures, farm life, tactical turn-based battles, meaningful relationships with townsfolk, quests, a world to influence, and more. Although a premium title, I believe it’s still worth it.
Chronomon is now available on Android, iOS, and PC. You can now download the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store, costing $9.99.
