DIGIDICED has announced the launch of its casual strategy board title, Caverna, now available on Android, iOS, and PC, priced at $11.99. This indie title is the official digital version of the iconic board game.
Jump in and experience Caverna’s turn-based strategic gameplay
Caverna is a digital version of the beloved strategy board game designed by Uwe Rosenberg. In this game, you play as the head of a dwarf tribe living in a small cavern, where your objective is to grow your tribe, manage resources, and become the strongest leader around.
If you are unaware of the original, it is a strategic worker placement game that debuted in 2013 from Lookout Games. It quickly received lots of positive reviews and even won various awards. And I am happy, now that it is available on mobile and PC, with new rules of the board game.
In the game, you can clear forests, dig into the mountains, furnish your cavern with rooms, forge weapons, and create various goods from the resources you collect. Every decision is crucial, whether it’s focusing on mining gems and ores or breeding animals.
Explore the Solo and Multiplayer modes and switch between looks
You can play against AI opponents in Solo mode and go up against 1-7 players in Multiplayer mode, whether live or asynchronously. One really cool feature I like is the ability to switch between the classic board game look and a reimagined 3D version.
The game looks very fun and intriguing, with game mechanics like Automatic Resource Growth, Worker Placement, Playback system, solo, local, and multiplayer modes, AI opponents with different personalities, weekly challenges, leaderboards, and more.
