A PLUS JAPAN has announced that their MMORPG, Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, is set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC this year. Originally developed by Tencent with Bandai Namco, the global release was scrapped. The game made a comeback under this name, with a 2nd closed beta held in April 2025.

I’m happy to see the game make a comeback, especially after its shutdown in Japan, which also cancelled the global release. Now that it’s back, I can’t wait to dive in, mine and collect rare crystals, battle various monsters, and explore every corner of the beautiful world.
