Playground Productions has announced to launch of its casual baseball sports title, Backyard Baseball ’01, scheduled for Android, iOS, and PC, on July 8, 2025. Developed by Mega Cat Studios, this is a remastered version of the second Backyard Baseball title in the Backyard Sports franchise.

Backyard Baseball ’01 brings back the magic of the second Backyard Baseball title and the fourth overall title in the beloved Backyard Sports franchise. In this remastered version, you can build your dream team with a mix of classic Backyard athletes and legendary MLB stars to win the Championship.
Even better, 28 out of 31 MLB players from the original version are making a return, including favorites like Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, and more. Moreover, it also features official MLB marks, with real team logos, names, and likenesses included.
