Azra Games just unveiled their upcoming dark fantasy character-collector RPG, UnGodly, set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC this winter. While the game’s still in development, a full reveal is scheduled for this fall, along with a PC beta and mobile pre-registration launching at the same time soon.
Get ready to dive into a brutal world and experience visceral combat
UnGodly will be a free-to-play, dark fantasy character-collector RPG, inspired by the gritty, old-school sword and sorcery tales. In this game, you’ll dive into a crumbling world, torn apart by a mysterious force, and you get to engage in real-time strategic, brutal battles.
What has actually excited me is the game’s visceral combat and its rich, evocative theme. I’m also looking forward to the Affinity System, as it lets you build emotional bonds between characters. You’ll unlock raw, vulnerability-driven storylines and deeply intense dialogue. All these intrigue me a lot.
The game promises to offer a console-quality experience on mobile
Another big reason to be hopeful is because of the talent behind the team. The Sacramento-based studio is formed by Mark Otero, the guy behind EA’s hit title, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, and backed by a team of seasoned devs. Otero stated, “We are pioneering the 4th generation of mobile RPGs, bridging the gap between mobile and console/PC experiences.”
With UnGodly’s reveal just around the corner, there’s already so much to be excited about. With the promise of delivering real-time, party-based combat, open worlds, extended PvE campaigns, console-quality experience, and more, the game already looks to hold so much potential.
