The skill allows the user to unleash psychic power in the designated direction, dealing damage and applying a slowing effect to opposing Pokémon it hits.

If the user hits an opposing Pokémon with this move, the move can be used again to unleash psychic power at a designated opposing Pokémon, dealing damage to it.

After the user learns this move, it gains Eon power whenever it defeats wild Pokémon. This move has the user dash in the designated direction and makes its next basic attack a boosted attack.

If the user hits an opposing Pokémon with a boosted basic attack, the user gains Eon power. This boosted attack also releases telekinetic projectiles, which deal damage. The more Eon power the user has accumulated, the more projectiles are released and the more damage they deal.
After the user learns this move, it gains Eon power whenever it defeats wild Pokémon. This move has the user summon down comets onto the designated area, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon they hit.

Pokémon Unite Latios Gameplay Tips

Our Pokémon Unite Latios Guide will now discuss how to play and achieve a perfect game plan for the Pokémon across the game. The following division has two sections of the early and late game, which players must make sure to read till the end.

Early Game

Since Latios doesn’t evolve, it is pretty much strong right from the start. In terms of laning, players could either go Top or Bottom Lane, or even the Jungle Lane. Players should focus on farming to level up Latios to further unlock new, powerful combos.

It is best to prioritise and upgrade Swift as it deals lots of damage, while allowing you to farm efficiently early on. Whereas, Confusion enhances your offensive ability by slowing enemies hit by the ability. Both abilities can be really powerful when combined.

Since the top lane is preferable for Latios, players should take on Rotom and also score as many goals as possible. This would help them level up as fast as possible and target the opponent attackers. When paired with Allied Support or Defender, you should go offensive with Latios by marking and taking down enemy laners.

Late Game

A couple of levels later, at Level 7, a choice has to be made between Luster Purge or Telekinesis. Luster Purge is highly recommended, especially when going full offensive, as it allows Latios to deal burst damage to enemy targets. The marked enemies hit by this ability will receive lots more damage when Latios or allied Latias hits them.

However, Telekinesis can be a useful pick, especially when faced with multiple enemy Pokémon targets, as it leaves them unable to act after being hit by the ability. Do choose according to the game plan. Latios’ Unite move can also be very useful during the Zapdos‘ fight to kill and steal, as it can help him burst down the enemy target he locks onto.

Positioning of Latios

The best path for Latios would be the top or Jungle Lane. Players should focus on farming lane Aipoms and Audinos. The cluster of Combees and Vespiqueen should be hunted down as much as possible to allow for increased exp and easy level-up. The attacking capabilities of Latios shouldn’t be wasted targeting enemy main roam player units, except when assisting your allied speedster.

Latios with other Pokémon

Our Pokémon Unite Latio guide will also talk about the relationship between Latios and other Pokémon.

Best synergies with Latios

Latios is a Pokémon that would need a capable roamer in order to bring out the best of its offensive capabilities.
