How to access the Hair Salon feature in My Talking Angela 2

The Hair Salon is a brand-new building in Angela’s city, and it looks like a giant hair dryer, so you won’t miss it. There are a few ways to access it. You can tap the little comb box with tools near Angela in her bedroom, head over to the salon building on the balcony map, or use Angela’s glam station by tapping on the hairbrush icon.

Getting started with the Salon look

Once Angela’s seated and ready, the first thing you’ll do is choose a base hairstyle and color. There are different types of hair, straight, wavy, curly, braids, alongside some vibrant color choices.

You can swipe through styles, rotate Angela for a full 360-degree view, and pick something that sets the mood for your final look. Once you’re happy, tap the check mark to move to the next step.

Before styling, it’s time to clean up. Angela’s hair needs to be washed just like in a real salon. Tap the sink and use the showerhead to wet her hair. Then, apply shampoo and conditioner with a simple swipe of your finger. Rinse everything off and finish up with a blow-dryer to prep her hair for cutting and shaping.

A lot of cutting and styling tools to play with

Now, for the next step, there’s a lot of cutting and styling to be done. For the same, you access the top shelf on the salon cart, the one with the scissors and clippers. This unlocks all the styling tools for cutting and shaping.

• Hairbrush: Moves Angela’s hair around naturally and removes styling gel.
• Gold Scissors: Cuts hair in straight, clean lines.
• Styling Gel: Lets you shape hair however you like; holds it in place until you brush it.
• Clippers: Works like scissors at the ends, but cut very short or remove hair if used near the roots.
• Hair Potion: This makes Angela’s hair grow quickly if you cut too much or want longer hair.
• Silver Scissors: Adds soft, natural-looking texture to the hair.
• Comb: Like the brush, but more precise, which is great for moving individual strands.

Next up is to add some color. Tap the second shelf, and you’ll see a can of color spray and a color brush. This opens up Angela’s hair coloring tools. A lot of options as listed below.

• Color Brush: Paints bold color strokes on the hair.
• Ombre Effect: Adds color gradients from one shade to another. You can layer more colors for fun looks.
• Splotch Brush: Adds playful, random splashes of color.
• Detail Brush: For adding small, precise touches like stripes or colored tips.
• Glitters: Adds sparkly stars for a magical look.
• Color Spray: Covers large areas with color, which is great for soft blends and effects.

Each time you use a coloring tool, you can select from one of the colors on the bottom bar. Swipe left or right to explore more options.

Let us jump into more styling, with straightening and curling. Tap the third shelf with the straightener and curler to change hair texture.

• Straightener: Makes hair smooth, flat, and super straight.
• Curling Wand: Adds tight, springy curls.
• Waver: Gives loose, natural-looking waves.
• Braider: Tap or drag across any hair section to instantly turn it into a pretty braid.

Accessories and final touches to complete the look

Tap the bottom shelf on the salon cart to explore all the fun accessories you can use on Angela’s hair. You’ll find four tabs at the bottom of the screen: Scrunchies & Buns, Beads, Headbands, and Clips. Just swipe left or right or use the arrows to browse through everything available in each category.

Adding a scrunchie automatically gives Angela a ponytail or bun, and each scrunchie comes with its unique hairstyle; some are simple, some are braided, and a few even come with extra ribbons. There’s also a wide variety of buns to pick from.

Want to add some flair? Try out the beads. You can place them on individual hair strands, and they come in different colors and shapes, so feel free to mix and match to create your patterns. headbands or clips. There are classic headbands with bows, flowers, and hearts, as well as fun ones with bunny ears or even ladybug wings.

Yes, that is it! Once you’re happy with Angela’s new hairstyle, tap the check mark at the top right, then hit Save. This takes you to Angela’s dressing table, where your creation is saved alongside the other styles you’ve made or unlocked.
