After an eventful TOTS, EA‘s FC Mobile is back with another bang! Celebrate the tireless action and fiery derbies that take place throughout the footballing season with the new Aqua vs Inferno event in FC Mobile 25. It’s time to take the competition to the next level!
Celebrate competition and the inevitable rivalries made on the way to the top with the new event! Pick your side and recruit fabled rivals with the Aqua vs. Inferno event. This event is similar to the Versus event from the consoles and the Rivalries event from seasons past of FIFA Mobile days.

Event Duration: June 12th – July 9th (28 Days)

FC Mobile 25 Aqua vs Inferno Event Flow
Main
First things first, before starting with the event, you need to make a choice and pick your side between Team Aqua and Team Inferno. While Team Aqua is spearheaded by the Argentine greats Javier Zanetti and the goat Diego Maradona, Team Inferno boasts the likes of Paolo Maldini and Pelé himself.
Select your team and fight for it! Be aware that these Team Exclusive Shards can be exchanged for Player Items; make your choice carefully. Do note that both Pelé and Maradona come as team-exclusive players for their respective teams, so should you plan to go for either of them, make your choice accordingly.
Once you have chosen your team, as has been the case this season, the first tab, the Main Tab, in this case, acts as a guide to the other chapters and the overall event. It’s not functional and redirects to other tabs, including the Aqua vs Inferno Quests, Challenge Mode, Exchanges, and Store Offers.
Additionally, there is a set of Aqua vs Inferno Weekly Quests as well, offering Aqua vs Inferno Shards, Logos, Players, and even Universal Rank Player – Mascheranos every week. These Quests are fairly simple and involve you scoring a certain number of goals, completing passes, tackles, and so on.
There are additional For Your Team Quests as well, rewarding Coins, Gems, Training Transfer Points, and Universal Rank Player – Mascherano based on the amount of Aqua vs Inferno Tokens you earn. Collect more Aqua vs Inferno Tokens for your team! Accumulate progress quickly to get extra rewards!
Therefore, the Main tab is the place to easily navigate to different game modes where you can earn Rewards related to the event. Besides, this Main Tab showcases the Popularity meter between Team Aqua and Team Inferno, with the players picking the team with a higher percentage getting special rewards.
Skill Master
In the Skill Master tab, you will log in each day and play through a series of five Star Skill Games to earn Aqua vs Inferno Tokens every day. Earn Aqua vs Inferno Tokens by completing skill games. There’s a Daily All-Clear Reward as well that offers additional Tokens after completing the Star Skill Games.
Tap the button to generate five Star Skill Games. They can be Aqua or Inferno Skill Games. Play three Skill Games of the same kind to claim the reward. You can retry every Skill Game if you want to get the full three Stars, although two Stars are just enough to get the maximum amount of Aqua vs Inferno Tokens.
Yes, Star Skill Games has made a return to the game with this event! There are additional Bonus rewards as well, offering Aqua vs Inferno Tokens and Aqua vs Inferno Shards based on the similar kind of Star Skill Games you draw from the event, ie, either Aqua or Inferno. The rewards are for playing three, four, or five of the same kind of Skill Games.
Do note that this depends on your luck on what type of Skill Game you draw on a particular day. There is a Star Collector Reward as well on the right-hand side, which offers rewards based on the number of Stars you collect from the Star Skill Games. The rewards include Coins, Gems, Logo, Aqua vs Inferno Shards, and even Universal Rank Player – Mascherano. Play Skill Games, Collect Stars, and Win Rewards!
Pair Up
Next comes the Pair Up tab for the final two weeks of the event. You will log in daily and play a PvE AI-based Match to earn Aqua vs Inferno Tokens and Coins daily in the Pair Up tab. Once you complete the match, you will get two tries daily to flip the player tiles in the Player Item board.
Two boards are running for the final two weeks of the event, with the first set consisting of Team Inferno players and the final week bringing Team Aqua players. Once you match two player tiles from the board, you can claim the reward, completing a set.
However, failing to complete a flip will make you flip back the tiles before making another flip. Complete Daily Matches to earn opportunities to flip over Player items. After every match, you can claim the reward to flip two times. Flip over two Duplicate items to pair up.
There’s a Collection Milestone as well, rewarding you with additional Aqua vs Inferno Tokens depending on the number of duplicate Player Items you manage to flip from the board. Make sure to pair up as many Player Items as possible to earn extra Aqua vs Inferno Tokens.
Reward
Next, you will be spending your hard-earned Aqua vs Inferno Tokens in the Rewards chapter. But unlike other events, there’s a twist in the Rewards tab. You will be using your Aqua vs Inferno Tokens to paint up the Tifo board and earn Aqua vs Inferno Vouchers in the Tifo Workshop.
Exchange Aqua vs Inferno Tokens for players and win paints to design your own Tifo. Paint every tile to win Vouchers and exchange those Vouchers for rewards. There are three colors available, primarily Red, Blue, and White, to paint the Tifo Workshop. Do note that you will get no further rewards for painting the board.
Spend your Aqua vs Inferno Vouchers to claim rewards on the Road to Gift Path. Progress down the Road to Gift Path using your Aqua vs Inferno Vouchers to unlock rewards. Use your Vouchers to claim a reward from the reward path. Every tile you paint will earn you Aqua vs Inferno Vouchers.
Open the Gift Box to get Aqua vs Inferno Rewards. These rewards on the Road to Gift Path include Gems, Coins, Training Transfer Points, Aqua and Inferno Kits, Aqua vs Inferno event Players, Aqua vs Inferno Shards, and even Universal Rank Player – Mascheranos.
At the end of the Road to Gift Path on the further right-hand side, there’s a choice of final reward between two 106 OVR Icons, CB Paolo Maldini and RB Javier Zanneti. Do note that you can make your choice irrespective of the Team you choose at the beginning
Gallery
Next, over here in the final Gallery Tab, whereas in past events, all the event-exclusive players are displayed. But this time, there’s a twist, similar to the TOTS event, these players are not only available in Packs where you can acquire them, provided your luck is great, but you can also get them in exchange for a new currency, Aqua vs Inferno Shards.
There are four sets of players ranging between 106-109 OVR, and all of them are untradeable, with new players arriving every week. Provided that the amount of Shards you accumulate over the event, you can get them. Spend Aqua vs Inferno Shards to exchange for Aqua vs Inferno Players, and Exchange extra Aqua vs Inferno Players in turn for Aqua vs Inferno Shards.
There are special Team Exclusive Aqua vs Inferno Players, as well, given your choice of Team Aqua or Team Inferno. Based on your choice, there are three Team Exclusive players ranging from 106-109 OVR, with the 109 OVR being either ST Pelé or RW Diego Maradona! It’s the question of ultimate choice!
New Players will be available weekly in the Gallery tab of the Aqua vs Inferno event! Head over to the Gallery to find all Player Items that were added that week. Spend Aqua vs Inferno Shards to exchange for player items and build your Team Aqua or Team Inferno.
Aqua vs Inferno Shard Exchange
Similar to the TOTS event, there is an Exchange Store as well, but not in the Gallery Tab this time. The Aqua vs Inferno Shard Exchanges are in the Item Exchange section on the Game Hub screen. This is the place where you can exchange your Aqua vs Inferno event Players, should you manage to pull any.
Therefore, Aqua vs Inferno Shards can be earned through player exchange and used to exchange for specific players. In return, you can exchange Aqua vs Inferno event Players for Aqua vs Inferno Shards. The exchanges are very interesting and involve trading in Aqua vs Inferno event Players solely for Aqua vs Inferno Shards.
So, from the above image, if you exchange a 107 OVR Aqua vs Inferno event Player tradeable or untradeable that you don’t find suitable for your squad, you will get 120 Aqua vs Inferno Shards back, which you can later utilize to get a player suitable for your team.
Do note that you can perform the above exchanges, you can get Aqua vs Inferno event players either from the Market or by buying the Gem Pack offers from the Store for 2500-3000 Gems. But do remember that whichever player you are targeting from the event will be untradeable, and you can’t sell it in the market for a profit.
Challenge Mode
Well, since this is not a mini-event, there will be a Challenge Mode as well! The Challenge Mode is exactly like the previous event, ie, a rehash of previous events. The only difference is you will be getting a chance at players from higher OVR, but you still won’t be getting any Aqua vs Inferno-specific currencies.
There will be both Daily and Weekend-special Challenge modes that hand out Players, Gems, and Coins. Since there are no H2H or Division Rivals matches involved, it should be fairly easy to win. Don’t forget to check out the Weekend Challenge, where you can earn up to 101-109 OVR Players!
Star Pass
Of course, the Star Pass is running simultaneously with the event. There are in-game resources present in the Star Pass. Complete Quests throughout the event to earn Star Pass progress, which includes rewards such as Coins, Gems, Training Transfer Points, FC Points, and other Cosmetic items, including Emotes and Kits.
Additionally, there are event-specific currencies present in the Star Pass as well! Yes, you can obtain Aqua vs Inferno Shards from the Star Pass this time, that too, both from the free and premium sides. Of course, buying the Premium Star Pass gives you an incentive to get a significantly higher amount of Aqua vs Inferno Shards at your disposal.
Don’t forget to check out the newest Aqua vs Inferno-themed Star Pass that is available at launch, including a 110 OVR pre-ranked ST Samuel Eto’o. So don’t forget your daily quests to progress through the Star Pass! Earning Star Pass Credits will unlock more rewards along the Star Pass path. There are two tiers to the Star Pass: free and premium. You can also use FC Points to move faster through Star Pass levels and collect rewards faster.

- Earn by spending Aqua vs Inferno Tokens on the Tifo Workshop board in the Rewards tab
- Spend them to claim the Rewards from the Road to Gift Box Reward Path in the Rewards tab

- Earn them by exchanging extra Aqua vs Inferno Player from the Gallery tab and the Reward Path in the Reward tab
- Spend them in the Gallery tab to obtain the Aqua vs Inferno Player of your choice

Since the Challenge Mode does not give out Aqua vs Inferno Tokens, further tokens can’t be obtained from there, and additionally, this time, you can’t trade off your extra TOTS Icon Tokens from the past as well.

Also, you can earn additional Aqua vs Inferno Tokens by exchanging Pass Points at an Exchange Rate of 3x Pass Points for 1x Aqua vs Inferno Token, with a total of 500 times, ie, 500 Pass Points for 500 Aqua vs Inferno Tokens Daily.
FC Mobile 25 Aqua vs Inferno Event Tips and Tricks
Aqua vs Inferno has a fair amount of grind, with daily skill games and matches to play in FC Mobile 25. So here are our additional tips and tricks to help you get the best from the event. It took us a while to get these answers and calculate everything, so let’s explain it here.
Now, tips for the event. Play everything. Be excited that there’s no event energy or stamina involved anymore in the new season. We’re not dealing with the constant fear of energy getting wasted and full and neither has there been a single ad since the game was released. So yes, definitely enjoy it while you can.
Aqua vs Inferno Players
Firstly, you won’t get any of the Aqua vs Inferno Players from the Gallery Tab using your Aqua vs Inferno Tokens; to get players, you will need Aqua vs Inferno Shards.

From the above, we can understand that should you go for any of the higher-rated Aqua vs Inferno Players, you will fall short of the required Aqua vs Inferno Shards, given you can’t earn them from playing the event. Now to get the Shards, you will need to perform the Shard Exchanges, ie, trading in Aqua vs Inferno event Players for Aqua vs Inferno Shards. The Tokens vary based on the Aqua vs Inferno player OVR you exchange for.

Although it sounds baffling why someone would do the exchange in the first place, should you get any low OVR Aqua vs Inferno event Players from the Gem Packs, Star Pass, or the Reward chapter, know that you can’t utilize them anywhere, so exchanging them for Shards is the logical way.

From the Calculations above, you can see that should you play the event throughout, you are gonna easily end with at least 520 Aqua vs Inferno Shards without performing any of the Shard Exchanges. This should increase the count of Aqua vs Inferno Shards obtained from the event.
And if you decide to further invest in the Star Pass, you do get a nice incentive of extra Aqua vs Inferno Shards as well. Now, unfortunately, you are going for the 108-109 OVR Aqua vs Inferno Players, you will need a lot more Aqua vs Inferno Shards than that.
To negate the difference, you can buy Aqua vs Inferno event Players from the market as well and utilize them in Aqua vs Inferno Shard Exchanges. However, should you decide to spend Gems, two popular Packs offer a 103-109 OVR Aqua vs Inferno untradeable event Player for 3000 Gems or a 101-109 OVR Aqua vs Inferno untradeable event Player for 2500 Gems.
You can get your choice of 108-109 OVR Aqua vs Inferno Players from the event, provided you have adequate Gems
Given a decent 108 OVR Aqua vs Inferno Player requires 800 Aqua vs Inferno Shards minimum, you will need around 60000 Gems, which is 20x of the 103-109 OVR Gem Packs with the worst possible luck. Similarly, for a 109 OVR Player, the amount of Gems required increases exponentially. The players look really solid and are end-game; therefore, make your decision wisely with the Gems you have in store.
Aqua vs Inferno Reward Chapter
Last but not least, don’t sleep on the Aqua vs Inferno Reward chapter. The rewards, especially the resources you earn from the Road to Gift Box, add up to a decent amount of Gems, Coins, Training Transfer Tokens, Universal Rank Player – Mascherano, Aqua vs Inferno Players, and Aqua vs Inferno Shards as well. Remember to utilize your Aqua vs Inferno Tokens well!
Maximize your Mascherano from the event
There’s one thing the Aqua vs Inferno event has brought in FC Mobile, ie, the Mascheranos, and there are plenty of them on offer. There are 2x Mascheranos available in the For Your Team Quest of the Main chapter. There is a free Mascherano given out after completing the Aqua vs Inferno Quests as well.
The Rewards do not end here, with the Skill Master chapter offering a total of 3x Mascheranos from the Star Collector Reward Path. You can grab a further 6x more Mascheranos from the Road to Gift Box in the Reward chapter.
Additionally, you can earn 2x more Mascheranos every week from the Exchanges and a few more from the Daily Login Rewards. And if you add them all up, you can get at least 20-25 Mascheranos from just grinding the seven-week-long event! This is incredible!
FC Mobile 25 Aqua vs Inferno Event Players
That’s it, the Aqua vs Inferno Event in a nutshell. Beyond that, there isn’t a whole lot to say about this event. All the calculations are at your doorstep there, do with it what you will, and plan carefully. Just play the event, every day, daily grind it out.
Aqua vs Inferno is a decent and grind-heavy event. It’s over four weeks long, and there’s a lot more going on here than we have seen in the past in FC Mobile! Finally, we receive an event where there’s a lot to do daily, and you can proceed with the goal of getting a player, without solely depending on pack luck. Yes, you can obtain a player that you desire for your squad, even if it’s untradeable.
Additionally, Division Rivals has been lackluster for quite some time, but with the Rivals update changes, you can now grind PvP matches in Division Rivals to get event currencies, starting with the Aqua vs Inferno event itself. FC Mobile has finally started to get better, even if it’s slightly!
