New packs are here, and starting things off in eFootball 2026 is the Chelsea B pack for this week. This pack brings back three of Chelsea‘s all-time greats: Didier Drogba, Claude Makélélé, and Frank Lampard into the mix and boy, this is tempting indeed.
Surely, this is a really tempting pack. You have a solid striker alongside a double pivot midfield control, but is this pack worth spinning? Let me drop my thoughts and the verdict of this pack.
eFootball 2026 Epic Chelsea B players
This is a 150-player pack, where we get three Epic cards. Two of them get the two Show Time skill treatment, while the other gets one ST skill.
Didier Drogba
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Fox in the Box
- Showtime Skill: Visionary Pass and Phenomenal Finishing
A striker that is lurking around the box and looking to score, Drogba comes in as a really solid option to start your eFootball 2026 journey. For someone who lurks around the penalty area, KONAMI has given a perfect treatment to this card with good numbers all around for the profile.
His offensive awareness and finishing sit in the mid-90s, and paired with aerial strength and heading that is pretty solid, inching closer to top-striker numbers, Drogba doesn’t have a weakness in the game of putting the ball in the net.
Physically, Drogba is a monster. His strength and physical contact push the mid-90s, and combined with stamina around the low-80s, he can fight all game long. Speed and acceleration are also something that is the 90s, which is quite high compared to how he was, but the dribbling surely makes him a little slower.
Low Pass in the 70s is surely to make use of that Visionary Pass skill, which is okayish for him; he will land that final pass, but not too sure about being accurate. Bullet Header would have been a better fit for sure, and I think that version will be coming too.
Claude Makélélé
- Position: DMF
- Playing Style: Destroyer
- Showtime Skill: Visionary Pass and Long-reach Tackle
A very interesting profile, that is Makélélé has been treated with awesome cards, and here too, we have a solid card. Defensive awareness, tackling, and aggression all push the high-90s, making him the most reliable ball-winner in the game.
His positioning allows him to sniff out danger before it develops, and the Destroyer role is tailor-made for breaking up opposition rhythm that works both as DMF and CB. Passing is also his forte; he can easily string both long and lofted passes. You just need the Through Passing skill to make him more accurate.
I know there are questions about his height and header being a major miss, but given how the aerial game seems to have become more important, I feel you surely need a double pivot, a tall one next to him to handle his game.
Frank Lampard
- Position: CMF
- Playing Style: Hole Player
- Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Pass
Lampard arrives as the all-action midfielder, one of the most complete cards in this set. I have his Blitz Curler version, and this option is almost similar, apart from the ST skill, which I feel is a better fit here. As expected, his passing game is elite, and both options can push to the 90s range.
What sets him apart, though, is his finishing for a midfielder, backed by showtime shooting skills; he’s lethal arriving late into the box. Lampard has stamina in the 90s, and that’s why he is a strong fit to move up and down, and depending on your build, he can also contribute to defense.
My suggestion would be an AMF build for the guy who is ticking the necessary boxes needed for that role. In the same build, you can also notice he gets solid numbers for dribbling and ball control; you can easily roll past players and keep the ball for a long while.
Even though he is a Hole Player, I would say Lampard is the definition of a box-to-box threat, and for players who like their midfielders to score as well as create, Lampard is a perfect pick.
Verdict on the eFootball 2026 Chelsea B players
All three, strong picks, no doubts. But if you ask me, I am seeing bigger potential packs coming next in the coming weeks, where there are better players that fit the meta. Double ST skills seems to be the norm so this will be having some solid combinations that we players can make better use of.
