eFootball 2026 Epic and Show Time Diagonal Long Pass A pack review

The Show Time setup!

A new season is always followed by new, shiny packs. eFootball 2026 is here with new Manager Link-Up Playstyles, and to tempt you into this, the Diagonal Long Pass A pack is here. It has some strong picks with two ST skills in a player, which seems to be the norm in the upcoming packs.

This time, the lineup features two Inter Milan legends, Wesley Sneijder and Samuel Eto’o as the Epic card picks, joined by the Show Time versions of Vinicius Junior and the rising playmaker Brahim Diaz. Let’s break down each card and see which ones stand out, and whether this set is worth your spins.

This is a 200-player pack, and it gets two Epic and Show Time players each. Three of the cards get two ST skill treatment, while the remaining come with one Show Time skill.

Wesley Sneijder

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
  • Showtime Skill: Visionary Pass and Phenomenal Pass

Sneijder comes in as a classic playmaker, built to dictate tempo and unlock defenses. His ball control and tight possession push into the high 90s, making him one of the smoothest dribblers in the game, and the new gameplay suits him.

Passing is his true weapon, with both low and lofted passes sitting among the best in the game. The Showtime skills give him pinpoint range for passing, and that’s exactly what’s needed for this card. Shooting in the mid-80s means he can still punish from distance if given space.

Physically, he’s balanced but not dominant, with average stamina in the mid-80s. He won’t track back defensively, but that’s not why you pick him either. This is a really strong card to start, and the only downside would be that not many prefer Creative Playmakers, but to make the Link Up play tick, here’s your pick.

Samuel Eto’o

  • Position: RMF
  • Playing Style: Hole Player
  • Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Acceleration Burst

Eto’o arrives as a wide forward but carries the instincts of a striker, exactly what his role was during his time with the Special One at Inter Milan. His offensive awareness and pace sit in the upper 90s, making him devastating both off the ball and on the counter.

Now I would say this Showtime blend of finishing and acceleration is a deadly combination, perhaps bettered by the finishing and Blitz Curler combo if it arrives. The speed and acceleration numbers hit over 100, bonkers indeed, which makes him lethal when attacking space.

Shooting comfortably hovers around the 90s, which can be adjusted as per your liking if you want him to be that dribble and shoot finisher. Ball control and dribbling are sharp, and physically, he’s quick rather than strong, but his burst more than makes up for it.

Vinicius Junior

  • Position: LMF
  • Playing Style: Hole Player
  • Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling and Visionary Pass

An interesting playstyle here for Vinicius, and he gets solid Show Time skills. Vinicius boasts some spectacular stats, with his dribbling, ball control, and balance sitting in the high 90s. Speed and Acceleration can go to the 100 mark, but 99 seems to be my sweet spot.

The Showtime mix allows him to carry the ball easily, and that Visionary Pass is awesome because you can just drop a cross from out wide and increase your scoring chances. His finishing is in the low-80s, not elite, but more than enough when combined with his movement.

Physically, he’s not the strongest, definitely you can’t push those numbers high, but early 70s would be good enough if you ask me. He has good passing numbers with a decent weak foot, so it won’t be a problem playing him on the left.

Brahim Diaz

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
  • Showtime Skill: Blitz Curler

The final card of the pack, and coming with only one skill here, is Brahim Diaz. With tight possession and ball control in the high 90s, he dances around defenders with ease. Speed and acceleration in the low-90s, these are good stats for sure.

Passing is solid, though not Sneijder-level, and can still go to the 90s. The Blitz Curler skill gives him a special edge, yes, but he isn’t moving too much at the front to utilize this option. Maybe Phenomenal Pass would have been a killer addition, but yeah, the makers are smart.

Something that caught my attention is that he comes with the Super Sub skill, which is important to make use of his flair and create chances in the second half against tired legs. Overall, a good card to get at the start of the season.

Verdict on the eFootball 2026 Diagonal Long Pass A players

So this is the first Epic pack I reviewed this new season, and to be fair, they look to be strong choices. On the whole, Diagonal Long Pass A players suit the best for the Jose Mourinho playstyle and formation, where you employ 4-2-2-2 the best.

Pack Rating: 4 out of 5
