Best of the lot?

Story Highlights
  • A new Epic European Clubs Midfielders pack has arrived in eFootball 2025.
  • Juan Sebastian Veron, Marco Reus, and Shinji Kagawa all get a show time skill.

This latest Epic European Clubs Midfielders pack in eFootball 2025 is a treat for fans who love their midfielders with flair, vision, and a bit of punch. Featuring Juan Sebastian Veron, Marco Reus, and Shinji Kagawa, the pack brings variety to the pack with solid midfielders in their position.

Let’s dive into the stats and see who comes out on top while answering the question of whether they are worth your coins.

Epic cards from the eFootball 2025 European Clubs Midfielders pack

Again, 150 players, 3 Epic cards. In what seems to be an interesting change, all three Epic players get a Show Time skill, which seems to be a selling point for this pack.

Juan Sebastian Veron

  • Position: CMF
  • Playing Style: Box-to-Box
  • Showtime Skill: Visionary Pass

A very solid card and by far the best card of the pack. A card that does the hard work and makes it look effortless. He is an all-rounder, an absolute boss on the ball with those boosts in dribbling and on-the-ball numbers, but that passing is in a league of its own in the right build.

No worries even though you cut points off his autobuild, you have all passing skills already. He can hit powerful shots from distance too, surprisingly, he gets both First Time Shot and Long Range Shooting, so don’t hesitate to let one fly.

Defensively, he reads the game well and positions himself smartly to cut off threats. He’s got the strength to hold off challenges, but the stamina might be lacking to cover ground all game. I feel going by his stats and skills, he is more suited to AMF rather than CMF.

Still, if you want him to be a good defender off the ball, you can surely give him defensive skills in the five slots remaining, although one dribbling skill in Double Touch is recommended.

Marco Reus

  • Position: LMF
  • Playing Style: Hole Player
  • Showtime Skill: Acceleration Burst

One of my favourite players in real life has come to the game, and initial impressions are neat: Reus brings that smooth, modern attacking midfielder energy. On the ball, he’s silky, with tight dribbles and quick turns, and that Acceleration Burst shows up.

His dribbling is undoubtedly the best aspect of his game, but those passing numbers are the cherry on top. He becomes such an awesome chance creator with precise low passing, he almost finds his man every time. His burst of pace is also great, you can move away from defenders easily.

That said, I’m not too sure about his finishing, felt very inconsistent for me. Physically, too, he is easy to dispossess. Reus feels more dangerous when you play him higher up the pitch as a second striker or a left winger, so build him similarly.

Shinji Kagawa

  • Position: AMF
  • Playing Style: Hole Player
  • Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling

Kagawa is the nimble, technical creator in this trio. The card is all about sharp turns, tight control, and beating his man in dribbles. He’s the kind of player who can glide past pressing, always looking to unlock defences with clever movement and quick give-and-go plays.

What makes him special is how agile he feels. He can glide between midfield and attack, link up play effortlessly, and always stay one step ahead of defenders. Just like Reus, he will struggle in physical duels, but his playstyle and ST skill surely are a solid one to have.

Best pick from the Epic European Clubs Midfielders pack in eFootball 2025

Veron is easily the top choice here, followed by Reus. You get a solid midfielder and a winger here, although at the end of the day, this pack doesn’t have flashy names, so I am not sure if players will find a preference. Still, a good pack to spin on.
