E.T.E Chronicle E.T.E Mecha Tier List: Best Mecha Ranked
I have prepared this list by categorizing the E.T.E characters into five features: Resonance, Magnetism, Nuclear, Penumbra, and Photon. To make it easy to grasp, I have further divided them into four major tiers: Super Strong (SSS), Strong (S), Good (A), and Average (B).
While you follow this list, you should also experiment with other characters, mixing and matching different classes and features, to see what works out for you.

Best E.T.E Mecha in E.T.E Chronicle
Best Resonance E.T.E – White-Swan
White-Swan, an S-Rank E.T.E piloted by the Syncer, Icicle, stands out as one of the strongest Resonance E.T.Es in the game. As an Assault class E.T.E, it boasts high firepower, speed, and manoeuvrability, along with high Crit Rate, rightfully being the best aerial E.T.E in the Union.
You can easily counter Deflection-type targets, restrict enemy actions, and even swiftly eliminate a single target. You can also take advantage of its various skills, like Ultimate, Rainbow Return, to deal heavy damage to the last two enemies, apply a Short Circuit effect, and also increase effect accuracy.
Best Magnetism E.T.E – Schmelzfeuer
Among Magnetism feature characters, Schmelzfeuer, piloted by Ruler, proves to be one of the best E.T.Es out there. This Special class E.T.E is built to survive intense battles while letting you shut down the enemy’s long-term fighting capabilities, making it a strong choice for your team.
With its high Firepower, ability to slow enemy durability recovery, and area attacks that can suppress multiple enemies, it gives you a solid upper hand in battles. With its Ultimate skill, Endless Killing Intent, you can deal heavy Phy DMG on all enemies, inflict the Backfire effect, and more.
Best Nuclear E.T.E – Kaspian Mk. III
Coming to Nuclear feature characters, Kaspian Mk. III, also piloted by Icicle, is one of the best in this category. This Heavy class E.T.E is equipped with high-durability armor, a large shield generator, and high firepower, making it great in both offense and defense. Nuclear E.T.Es can penetrate D.S. Field.
You can take advantage of its ability to reduce the performance metrics of multiple enemies, suppress them with area attacks. What makes it more useful is its high attack and Perfect Deflection. With its Ultimate Vacuum Barrier, you can deal a lot of DMG, increase your armor, and also taunt all enemies.
Best Penumbra E.T.E – Seablade
Among the few Penumbra-feature type E.T.Es in the game, Seablade, piloted by Chisha, is the strongest. Developed by the Nine Regions Alliance, this naval Assault class mecha showcases impressive mobility, versatile weapon installations, and you can even attack effectively at all ranges.
This mecha excels in specific situations, and you can weaken multiple enemies and even suppress them with area attacks. With Penumbra mecha can’t pierce D.S.-Fields, you can deal heavy damage to units. With its Ultimate, Legion Strike, you hit all enemies and deal bonus damage to locked ones, with more damage in a naval battlefield.
Best Photon E.T.E – Yao-Guang
Lastly, for Photon feature type E.T.Es is Yao-Guang, a versatile Assault mecha, piloted by Long-ang. It represents a major leap in energy utilization, becoming the first to control Dangy Particles on the battlefield. You can deal fixed DMG to enemies that bypass their defense, making it very effective.
Plus, the more durable the enemy, the more damage you deal, while recovering your durability during combat. And as a Photon unit, you can deal high damage to both D.S-Field and enemy units, and take advantage of its special damage capabilities.
With its Ultimate, Heavenly Dragon Roar, you can deliver massive damage to a locked target and also absorb a percentage of ally units’ max Durability. It also activates Dragon Domain, covering the entire battlefield, and when it ends, it either deals true damage to enemies or restores your team’s durability.
