With the Dark Elixir Bootcamp currently ongoing in Clash of Clans, as part of its Summer Jam event calendar, Supercell has also announced a special Super Troop event offering all the Super Troops at an unbelievable 99% Discount rate, ie, each Super Troop is available for 250 Dark Elixir.
Hence, if you haven’t completed the Superb Work achievement earlier in Clash of Clans, this just might be the perfect time to activate your favorite Super Troops and use them at a discounted rate, and get over 1000 Experience and 100 Gems for free.
How to complete the Superb Work achievement in Clash of Clans and get the free Gems
Scrolling down to the end of your profile in the Home Village tab, you will find the Superb Work achievement, which rewards Gems for boosting Super Troops in your Home Village. Remember, you only need to boost the Super Troops to complete the achievement and not necessarily use them!
- Click the Barrel next to the Trader building and tap the Super Troop of your choice
- Activate and Boost your selected Super Troop using either a Super Potion or Dark Elixir.
- Cancel the Boost immediately using the Cancel button and confirm Yes.
- Keep repeating the process a maximum of 250 times; ie, until you complete the Superb Work achievement.
Note that with the Super Troops discount event ongoing, you will only need 250 Dark Elixir to boost a Super Troop instead of the regular 25,000 Dark Elixir. Hence, I will suggest saving your Super Potions for crucial Clan Wars and using your Dark Elixir solely to boost your troops.
In total, if you have to start and complete the Superb Work achievement from scratch, you will require a total of 250*250, ie, 62,500 Dark Elixir to complete the achievement and claim the free 140 Gems
Also, if there are Super Troops that you are yet to use in the game due to the lack of Super Potions or the high Dark Elixir cost, this is the perfect time to brainstorm and devise the best strategies with your Super Troops!
