Clash of Clans is back with another exciting seasonal challenge as part of the Clash-A-Rama season this August 2025. Following the first Ricochet Rumble Challenge, we have our second challenge of the month with the Monolith Mayhem in Clash of Clans.
Introducing the Monolith Mayhem Challenge in Clash of Clans
The challenge is kind of interesting here, as we get back the format of “saving heroes” and adding them to your troops lineup. The Barbarian King is a controversial hero here, and the base is easy to tackle without much of a hassle if you try to move your hero skillfully.
The rewards will be distributed as in previous challenges; you will receive extra resources along with 400 XP, 25 Gems, and 1x Resource Potion. Again, not so much to be excited about.
How to beat the Monolith Mayhem Challenge in Clash of Clans
You can only deploy the Barbarian King in the center of the base, so start there and immediately tap the nearby Wizard Tower to take it out. Next, move on to the multi-inferno, followed by the other Wizard Towers on the left side.
This clears out the splash damage and forces the three defending Wizards out of the Clan Castle for your King to deal with. After defeating the third Wizard, target the Wizard Tower at the top, but don’t unlock any other troops yet.
Once the King destroys the Clan Castle, target the Air Sweeper next to the Barbarian Kickers so they can go after the Scattershot. Recruit the Kickers and keep the King between them and the Scattershot to soak up damage while they finish it off.
Then, bring the King back to the bottom side of the base. You should next be unlocking the Ice Wizards and Mecha at the bottom left, and if the Battle Ram troops aren’t active yet, take the King over to trigger them and destroy the Wizard Tower nearby.
Once that’s done, move to the Broom Witches, which will target Wizard Towers in the bottom part of the base. You can tap the Monolith with your King, but the Witches will likely take care of the Wizard Towers next to it since we have already unlocked the needed troops.
From here, the King can clean up non-defensive buildings while avoiding the defending Barbarian King, using his ability if needed. Recruit remaining troops for support, clear out the last structures, and you’ll have your three stars locked in.
