Clash of Clans: Guide to unlock the 6th Builder in Home Village

Unlocking the 6th builder in Clash of Clans requires Builder Hall 9 and completing upgrade tasks in the Builder Base.

In Clash of Clans, builders are essential to upgrading your buildings in the village. Generally, the available number of builders is 5, which you can buy by spending Gems. The first five builders are concerning the Home Village, but it’s time to unlock the 6th builder through the builder base in Clash of Clans.

In this article, I will explain all of these tasks that you need to complete, along with tips to unlock that 6th builder as quickly as possible for your Home Village.

Clash of Clans: How to unlock the 6th Builder

Approach and Unlock Requirements

The focus is on how you can get that builder. Of course, you have to play the Builder Base to unlock the Master Builder’s latest invention. If you guys are enjoying playing the builder base, that is fine; take your time and upgrade your Builder Hall to level 9.

But if you want to skip the process and access the builder very quickly, just rush to Builder Hall 9. Now, you will think about how to maintain all of these resources and offenses; nothing to worry about; just leave them as level one, and then focus on some particular things that I mentioned.

To unlock the sixth builder, B.O.B, you need to upgrade the B.O.B Control to level 5 by completing four key tasks. These tasks include:

Gearing up three buildings in the home village, the Cannon (to Double Cannon), an Archer Tower (to Fast Attack mode), and a Mortar (to Multi Mortar).
Upgrading one Builder Base defense to Level 9.
Upgrading any Builder Base troop to Level 18.
Reaching a combined level of 45 for the Builder Base heroes (Battle Machine and Battle Copter).

Upgrading the B.O.B Control itself is the final and fifth task you can say. Once the tasks are complete, you can just click on the Upgrade option to complete the B.O.B control to Level 5, and then B.O.B is ready to help you in the home village.

Tips and tricks to getting your 6th Builder quickly in Clash of Clans

1. Elixir Farming + picking the Troop strategy

Well, anyone would love to unlock the 6th builder. Builder Base needs your attention for your upgrades. First thing is to farm elixir as much as possible, because you have two essential upgrades to do here: Star Laboratory and troop upgrade.

My suggestion is to push on troops to the max, and in my case, would be the Baby Dragon, because of how versatile these troops are. By the time you reach Builder Base 9, you will have to make it Level 16, so that it only needs two more levels to be upgraded.

2. Multi Mortar upgrade

This should be done before jumping to the Builder Hall 9, but if you are rushing, make sure you do max out Multi Mortar to level 8. This is because it counts both as a defense requirement and unlocks the gear-up for the Multi Mortar in the home village.

3. Use your CWL medals wisely

Save your Clan War League medals to buy Hammer of Building and Hammer of Heroes. These instantly complete upgrades and help cut down long wait times for Star Laboratory, Heroes, or B.O.B Control.

4. Gold Pass for quick Hero upgrades

As I mentioned earlier, you need a combined level 45 between the Battle Machine and Battle Copter. Focus on levelling both equally and use Book of Heroes from the Gold Pass or events to skip time, so the best combination is Level 22 and 23.

5. Claim Star Bonuses Daily

You can store two Star Bonuses, so try to collect them every day or every other day to get consistent loot for upgrades. Also, don’t miss out on special events like 2x or 4x Star Bonuses for more loot.
