Brawl Stars Maisie Guide: Abilities Breakdown

Maisie’s Attack: Pressure Rocket

Maisie’s main attack is called Pressure Rocket. She shoots a projectile that gathers speed as it travels, dealing more damage to enemies that are farther away. The projectile can pierce through enemies, hitting multiple targets in its path.

The projectile had a minimum damage of 1500 at level 1, increasing to 3000 at level 11. Pressure Rocket is a unique attack that requires good aim and timing to hit enemies at the optimal distance. It can be used to poke enemies from afar or to finish off low-health targets.

Maisie’s Super: Shockwave

Maisie’s super is called Shockwave. She charges up for a split second, then creates a large shockwave around her, dealing damage and knocking enemies back. The shockwave has a radius of 4.33 tiles and deals 1240 damage at level 1, increasing to 2480 at level 11. The knockback effect pushes enemies away from Maisie by 3 tiles.

Shockwave is a powerful super that can be used for both offense and defense. It can be used to disrupt enemy formations, push enemies into traps or hazards, or create some distance between Maisie and her pursuers. It can also be used to deal some extra damage to enemies that are close to Maisie or to secure kills. Its effect can even pierce through walls.

Tips for using Maise’s Super

  • Use Shockwave near obstacles or walls: You should take advantage of the knockback effect by using the Super near walls, environmental obstacles, or edges of the map. You can use it to control areas in modes like Hot Zone or Gem Grab, and for surprise takedowns.
  • Use it for defense: You can also use the Super defensively to knock back enemies and create space. Although not much, the 3-tile push gives you time to reposition, escape critical situations, or heal.

Best Game Modes for Maisie

She is a brawler who can excel in many game modes with her long-range pressure rockets, powerful shockwave, versatile gadgets, and star powers. Here are her best game modes:

  • Brawl Ball: Maisie is a top pick in Brawl Ball, with a very high pick rate and win rate. You can use her Super to clear defenders or interrupt their plays. Moreover, by using Disengage!, you can reposition quickly or Finish Them! to secure eliminations.
  • Showdown: She is equally good in Solo, Duo, and Trio Showdown modes. Take advantage of her Super plus Tremors Star Power combo to disrupt, damage, and slow down enemies.
  • Gem Grab: Maisie is great at mid-control in this mode. You can maintain pressure with her long-range main Attack, and knockback or corner enemy gem carriers. If you are carrying Gems, use Disengage! to escape tricky situations.
  • Knockout: With her long-ranged main Attack and Pinpoint Precision Star Power, you can start applying pressure early on. You can team up with Brawlers like Spike for even better outcomes.
  • Hot Zone: Her Shockwave Super shines in this mode, allowing you to control the zones by damaging enemies and pushing them out of the zones. Her Hypercharge makes her even more annoying here.

Best Brawler Combination with Maisie

Maisie is a powerful brawler who can deal massive damage and can opt for either an aggressive or a defensive playstyle. To maximize her potential, you can pair her with other Brawlers. Spike is a great choice, thanks to his consistent chip damage and great area control, which works well with your kit.

Maisie also synergizes well with Piper. Their long-range attacks are a deadly combo, as Piper can finish off enemies that Maisie weakens, or vice versa. For tank, Jacky, or Buster works well. Jacky’s Super can pull enemies close, setting up for Maisie’s Super, providing AOE damage and knockback.
