Brawl Stars has brought back the fan-favorite Angels and Demons event, featuring even more Angelic and Demonic Drops, new power-ups, and a mix of new and old skins, like the Demon Mortis and Angel Edgar Hypercharge Skins. The Angels event is now live until July 28, while the Demons event is set to arrive in late August.
Originally launched in November 2024, the Angels vs Demons Season introduced themed skins, exciting rewards, new game modes, and more. During this season, regular Starr Drops were replaced with Angelic and Demonic Drops, offering a variety of exclusive rewards.
In this guide, I will walk you through everything you need to know about the Angelic and Demonic Drops, how to get them for free, what rewards are available, their drop rates, and more. So, let’s get started!
Brawl Stars Angelic and Demonic Drops overview
During this event, you will receive Angelic and Demonic Drops, which contain event-themed rewards, instead of the regular Starr Drops for your battle wins. You can get more progression resources, such as Coins and PowerPoints, from these new drops compared to the average Starr Drop.
Unlike last time, this time the event is divided into two parts: Angels Event, which is now live until July 28, and Demons Event, which is coming late August. So, until July 28, you can earn over 100 drops of each during the event period.
Rewards available in the Angelic and Demonic Drops
I previously got a few Angelic or Demonic brawler skins from the drops, like Light Angel Colt, Demon Emz, Underworld Bo, and more. That said, I hope that I get Demon Mortis or Angel Edgar skin hypercharge skins, which look cool.
Anyways, to open the new drops, you have to simply tap and hold your mobile’s screen until the circle is fully completed to receive your rewards. And remember, if your Angelic and Demonic Drop takes a long while to open, it means that you will receive even better rewards, like a themed skin.
You can get a variety of items from the Angelic and Demonic Drops: Coins, Power Points, Gadgets, Star Powers, Hypercharges, XP Doublers, Gems, Credits (only if you have all the Brawlers of a certain rarity), Brawlers, theme-based Skins, Angel and Demon cosmetics like Pins and Sprays, and exclusive Angel and Demon Skins.
How to get Angelic and Demonic Drops in Brawl Stars
I am sure you must be curious by now about how to get plenty of Angelic and Demonic Drops in the game, especially with all these tempting rewards that are too hard to miss. So, let’s continue with how and where to get all the Angelic and Demonic Drops.
You can earn 6 Angelic and Demonic Drops through daily battle wins, participating in weekend events and contests, and from the in-game shop. If you have gems saved up, you can purchase more with gems. Plus, if you purchase all the featured drops across 10 steps, you will unlock the exclusive hypercharge skins for free.
1. Daily Starr Drops
But keep in mind that you have to grind a lot this season. For a rough estimate, if you play throughout the season, you can earn around 100 Angelic Drops and 100 Demonic Drops for free, totaling 100 exclusive Starr Drops featuring all the rewards I mentioned before.
Each event runs for 12 days, so you’ll get around 72 Angelic and 72 Demonic Drops by just winning 8 matches daily. So, make sure to complete 8 matches every day to not miss any of the exclusive drops.
2. Contest
If you have the right skills and you are competitive, you can also earn them from the Contests, which take place every three days in the game. Every day, you will get 5 tickets to participate in the Contest, and you can compete against other players in the leaderboard.
Remember that you will earn more Angelic and Demonic Starr Drops if you perform well in the Contest and rank up in the Contest Leaderboard. Also, be sure to use your tickets before the next one starts, as the tickets are only valid for three days.
3. Special Quest
You can earn 4 Angelic Drops by completing all the special quests. These quests are fairly easy if you’ve good teammates, like winning 3, 6, 9, and 12 Ranked matches.
According to Supercell, you could earn up to 100 Angelic and 100 Demonic Drops, provided you win all your matches, participate in contests, and complete the special quests. But we all know this isn’t quite possible, as you will get bad teammates and lose a few matches here and there, but you can still give your best.
Balance Changes for the Angelic Event
The game recently underwent maintenance, bringing balance changes and a few important fixes. Several Brawlers have been buffed, while Angelic Abilities received some nerfs. They are as follows:
- Reload Speed has been reduced from 6500 to 4000.
- Sam’s Angelic Pet Limit has been cut down from 6 to 3.
- Angelic Projectiles’ damage has been reduced from 800 to 700.
- Divine Protection Shield now activates after 6 hits, instead of 5.
