Best Prototypes in BlazBlue Entropy Effect

1. Ragna the Bloodedge

Ragna, who is the main character of the series, is an aggressive close-range fighter. With his lifesteal mechanics, you can sacrifice a portion of his health to deal powerful damage while also recovering HP by hitting your enemies. As your health drops, strength grows, making Ragna a very powerful Prototype.

His kit revolves around managing HP through his Blood Drain mechanic. Every skill you perform costs a % of your current health, but it heals a portion back if the skill connects, which scales further with the number of enemies hit. Legacy skills like Dead Spike and Blood Kain complement his playstyle.

With Dead Spike, you can launch a healing projectile by sacrificing a % of your health, while Blood Kain continuously drains your HP over a few seconds to boost all damage by 12% and you get lifesteal on every attack. And his Wrath of Death talent makes him broken, stacking up a 71% skill damage boost.

2. Jin Kisaragi

Jin Kisaragi is a flexible Prototype who controls the battlefield via freezing and slowing effects. His attacks can halt or slow enemies, letting you set the pace of combat. The Time Stasis Talent lets you slow down enemies and their projectiles by dodging, while keeping you completely invulnerable.

You can take advantage of his sheathing and blocking mechanic. Like, by performing an attack right after sheathing your blade enhances its power, while with a well-timed block, you can negate incoming damage and create openings. That said, while his freezing abilities are cool, he is fairly hard to master.

Jin’s Legacy Skills provide a mix of control and damage. With Reitou Frost Bite, you can summon three ice pillars that freeze enemies for up to three seconds, making it one of the strongest crowd-control abilities. With Hyouten Danka Giant, you can deliver a powerful homing slash with wide area coverage.

3. Hakumen

Hakumen, a powerful Swordsman, excels at counterattacks and blocking. While his movement is slow, you can defeat enemies almost instantly with his quick and precise slashes. With his signature Skill, Kokuujin Yukikaze, you can parry any attack and also strike back with a devastating horizontal slash.

The Talent Battle Hardened grants you Super Armor for a few seconds after taking or blocking a hit. This prevents you from being staggered, giving you time to finish enemies even when you’re under pressure. With various Potential upgrades, you become faster and more mobile, making you more powerful.

Then there’s his Legacy Skills, which increase his defensive and offensive play style. Kokuujin Jinrai lets you deliver massive area damage after a successful block, while you maintain invincibility frames. While Kongou provides you with brief damage reduction and super armor, the first one is much better.
