PUBG Mobile has been closely following the esports roadmap and taking care of its circuit so well. Following the success so far this year, it will share the stage of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 to commence one of its flagship events, the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2025. Scheduled to kick off on the 25th of July, the event will run till the first week of August.
PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2025: Schedule and Format
There will be three stages in the esports event. The initial one, the Group Stage, will kick off on the 25th of July 2025 and will run till the 27th. The 24 teams will be divided into three groups and play 18 matches. The top 8 teams will move to the next stage.
The rest of the teams will move to the Survival Stage. The Survival Stage will begin on the 29th of July and will take place for two days. The top eight teams will advance to the next stage, while the rest of the teams will be eliminated.
As the top 16 teams confirm their spots in the Grand Finals, it will kick off on the first day of August. The grand finalists will play a total of 18 matches, where each day will end after six matches. This ultimate showdown will see the application of the Smash Rule as well, on the final day, however.

There will be a total of 24 teams to fight for the ultimate prize. To win over the crown of PUBGM’s best esports team so far this year, these participants will go all out.

Yangon Galacticos is the champion of PMWC 2025
Yangon Galacticos has made history to become the champion of PMWC 2025. While the team is now waiting to set off on its new journey, it has left others in shock. After competing in 18 matches across three thrilling days, the team from Myanmar secured its victory with a total of 157 points, with four chicken dinners.
Weibo Gaming has become the runner-up with 142 points, while the sensation Alpha Gaming finished in third place. To express the joy after winning the event on a global stage, Yangon Galacticos’ Romeo said, “We had the confidence to make it happen.”
Prize Pool
The prize pool is massive, and over three million USD will be spent on the teams. The exact amount is $3,050,000, for which the teams will fight their best. The champion team will receive the highest amount, followed by the other teams. Take note that the prize pool is different in each stage, but we will only cover the grand finals.
