Another year is about to end, and so are the esports events for PUBG Mobile. The year-finale event, the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025, is cutting corners to share the stage soon. Though the PMWC 2025 finished just weeks ago, the biggest tournament is already peaking to appear in full force.
This article will help you know the details of PMGC 2025 that have been released so far. Each year that passes by, PUBG Mobile remains as one of the top-performing mobile titles, and not to our surprise, the upcoming event will also be a success.
PMGC 2025: Schedule and Format
PUBG Mobile has recently introduced its plan for the second half of 2025, making a few changes to the PMGC 2025, mostly. One of those changes is the introduction of the Gauntlet stage. The event will kick off with this stage in November; however, the exact dates have not been revealed yet.
The Gauntlet
16 qualified teams from each Regional Championship will play for three matchdays. Each day will feature six matches, making it a total of 18 matches. The top 6 teams will advance to the Grand Finals. However, the remaining teams won’t face elimination as they will move to the group stage.
Group Stage
32 teams will be divided into two groups of 16 teams each. Apart from the 10 that joined from the initial round, the rest are from each region’s PMGC Points. Each group will compete in 18 matches, and the top 4 from each group will advance to the Grand Finals. The 5th to the 12th-ranked teams from each group will advance to Last Chance. The bottom four will conclude their journey.

Last Chance
We do not know the dates of these stages. However, the Last Chance stage will feature 16 teams and two matchdays. The fight will be for 12 matches, and the top one will make its way to the next round while the others will be eliminated.
Grand Finals
The remaining 16 teams will fight for three consecutive days, not 24 hours, though. They will play six matches in a day, making it a total of 18 matches. The top team will claim the champion trophy, which will be determined by the overall accumulated points.
Participating Teams
So far, we know that a total of 39 teams will join the tournament and fight through each stage. Apart from regional PMGC points, there are host country invited teams along with the champions from the Pro Series Korea and the Japan League. Besides, there will be two special invites.
