Pokémon UNITE is ready to organize its year-end esports event in 2025. The Pokémon UNITE World Championship 2025 will take place this August and crown the champion on its three-day run. Pokémon UNITE World Championship 2025: Schedule and Format
Scheduled to kick off on the 15th of August 2025, the tournament will have a three-day run in total, meaning it will end on the 17th of August.
The event will consist of two stages: the Group Stage and the Playoffs. The first stage will feature all 32 participating teams. These teams will be divided into eight groups of four each and play single-round robin matches in a best-of-three (BO3) format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs.
In the next stage, the remaining 16 teams will also engage in single-elimination bracket matches in a best-of-three (BO3) format. But the finals and semifinals will be best-of-five (BO5). The grand final will take place on day 3, the final day of the event, while the other matches will be played on the second day.
