MOONTON’s popular MOBA, Mobile Legends will soon commence the Mid Season Cup (MSC). Collaborating with the Esports World Cup, the title will feature two events on the grand stage. Thus, the MLBB Women’s Invitational (MWI) 2025 esports year is going to see a massive hike.
The event will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will kick off on July 15th, 2025. This is the second time MLBB is being featured in EWC 2025. Following the esports roadmap for MLBB in 2025, the event will be one of a kind, with a bigger prize pool and a revamped system. MOONTON and the Esports World Cup Foundation are jointly organizing the event.
Mobile Legends Women’s Invitational (MWI) 2025: Schedule and Format
The event will take place in two stages, starting with the Group Stage on the 15th of July. It will run till the 17th, when teams will be divided into 4 groups of 4 each. It will follow a GSL format, and all the matches will be BO3. The top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the Playoffs.
The second stage will kick off on July 17th and end on July 19th. Matches will be played in single-elimination brackets, with the quarterfinals being BO3. The semifinals and the third-place determiner matches will be BO5, and the Grand Final will be BO7.

Mobile Legends MWI 2025 has its champion as Team Vitality defeated Gaimin Gladiators in the grand finals. The champion team won with a 4-0 scoreline, marking a clean sweep in a grand event like this one. Covering each corner of the map, the champion team didn’t make a single mistake when it came to utilizing every opportunity.
Besides winning the championship title, the team also won a huge amount of money, thanks to the effort of each contributor working actively and passively for the team. Apart from the grand final, the third-place match was between Terror Queens and Team Liquid, where the former won by a 3-0 score.
