After witnessing two back-to-back flagship events, the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) scene in India is again jamming up for the third top-tier event, backed by electronics manufacturing company iQOO. It has announced the iQOO Battlegrounds Series, featuring a massive INR 1 Crore prize pool. The event will kick off in June with an aim to bring together professionals as well as community participation.
iQOO Battlegrounds Series 2025: Schedule and Format
The event will follow a hybrid format, bringing the winner of the iQOO Community Cup under the same stage as the top 31 teams across the country. iQOO Battlegrounds Series 2025 will kick off on the 21st of July with a qualifier. As the event will continue into the next month, the grand final will take place in Delhi from the 8th to the 10th of August 2025.
Participating Teams
The tournament will feature a total of 32 teams as participants. The grand final will, probably, feature 16 teams. It will follow the standard format of PUBG Mobile’s regular events. As we don’t know the teams, keep an eye on the article to get the latest update regarding the participant teams.
Prize Pool
As you already know, the tournament will share a total of INR 1 crore (almost $117,000) as the prize pool. Teams, based on their overall standings, will share the amount after their showdown in the grand finals. The grand final will be a LAN event, scheduled to take place in Delhi from August 8th to 10th.
There will be other individual awards as well. As iQOO hasn’t shared much about the allocation, we don’t know the exact amount that each team will get. We’ll let you know when the data becomes available.

The company has a long history with esports. As it wants a higher impact on the scene, it is strengthening its commitment to esports with the first season of this tournament. As the tournament is just around the corner, we will be expecting it to be as smooth as possible and also accepted by the community.
