COD Mobile is hosting its regionals as part of its qualification process for the World Championship 2025 World Finals. Organized by Activision and ESL, the teams will be from corners of the world and will engage for the ultimate crown of COD Mobile Esports. A total of $850,000 will be shared among the teams, and we are yet to know other details.
COD Mobile World Championship 2025 World Finals: All Regional Qualifiers
The road to the COD Mobile World Championship involves multiple events, including regionals, Asian leagues, and third-party events, which serve as qualifier events. There are five regional qualifiers, namely, North America, Europe, LATAM, India, and Japan.
North America
The North America region will feature eight participants, along with three direct slots to the 2025 World Championship. Besides, a total of $27,000 will be shared among the teams. Starting on the 26th of July 2025, the event will run till the first week of September.
The event will be divided into two stages: the Group Stage and the Playoffs. All the matches will be BO5 except for the Grand Final, which will be a BO7. Here’s an overview of the event:

Europe
Scheduled to kick off on the 2nd of August 2025, the event will run till the 24th of the same month. Though a total of eight teams will be playing the event as the participants, the amount of its prize pool is not known yet. However, the champion will qualify for the World Championship directly. The event will take place online.

LATAM
This will be an online event taking place in the South American region. Again, the number of teams participating in the tournament will be eight. For a total $27,000 prize pool, teams will be fighting each other in two stages. All the matches will take place in a BO5 format, while the grand final will be a BO7.
As the qualifier tournament is scheduled to kick off on the 26th of July 2025, it will run till the 17th of August. The top three teams will qualify for the World Finals. Now, an overview of the event is as follows:

India
The Indian scene of the regional leagues is quite big, and the top two teams will qualify for the World Finals in 2025. Following the other regional leagues, this will also be an online event. It is scheduled to kick off on the 9th of August and will end on the last of the same month.
There will be two stages in the event: the Group Stage and the Playoffs. All the matches will be in a BO5 format, while the Grand Finals will be a BO7. A quick overview of the event is as follows:

Japan
The last of the regional events is for Japan. Only the champion from this event will qualify for the World Finals, and this is scheduled to start on the 9th of August and will run till the 24th of August.
The tournament will take place in two stages, where the Group Stage matches will be BO5, and except for the grand finals, the other matches of the Playoffs will also be BO5. A total of eight teams will compete in the event, and updates on the prize pool will be announced later.
