Battlegrounds Mobile India‘s arguably the biggest and grandest unofficial major tournament, the Battlegrounds Mobile Masters Series (BGMS) 2025 Season 4, is almost knocking on the door. Just like the previous years, this season they have once again partnered with Star Sports to stream the tournament exclusively on live television.
This makes BGMS a one-of-a-kind tournament in BGMI Esports. This year, Nodwin Gaming is also bringing a special tournament, which is designed for female BGMI esports athletes and other players who can enter from the open qualifiers. The BGMS Season 4 will start on the 18th of August and will end on the 14th of September.
BGMS Season 4: Schedule and Format
League Stage
This year’s BGMS has a subtle twist in its format. The tournament is divided into three parts: League Stage, Playoffs, and Semi-finals. 24 invited teams will play against each other in a round-robin format. After the conclusion of the group stage, the top 4 teams in the points table will advance to the Grand Finals.

Meanwhile, the mid-8 teams from 5 to 12 positions will compete in the Semi-finals of BGMS. Lastly, the bottom 12 teams will fight in the Playoffs. The group stage will start on the 18th of August and will end on the 7th of September.
Playoffs and Semi-finals
In the Playoffs, which will start and end on the 9th of September, 4 teams from the Battlegrounds Challengers Series will join the remaining 12 teams and fight each other. The top 8 teams will qualify for the BGMS Semi-finals.
In the Semi-finals, the mid-8 teams of the league stage will be mixed with the top 8 teams of the Playoffs. Out of those teams, the top 12 will qualify for the Grand Finals. Semi-finals will start on the 10th of September and end on the 11th of September.
Grand Finals
The Grand Finals of Battlegrounds Mobile Masters Series 2025 Season 4 will start on the 12th of September and will end on the 14th of September. It will be an audience LAN event. In this event, we will have some interesting rules, such as Bounty Points, 2x finish bonus points, and Impact Players.

The total prize pool of Battlegrounds Mobile Masters Series 2025 Season 4 is 1.5 crore INR. The overall MVP of the tournament will win a motorbike as a reward.
