Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is coming back with another showdown of excitement as the game has announced BMPS 2025. The upcoming esports event will be the fourth edition of the series, featuring the top-tier and leading teams from the Indian esports scene.
The KRAFTON-backed event will feature a massive prize pool of INR 4 crore. It will mark the end in July after commencing the LAN final in New Delhi.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2025: Schedule and Format
The announcement for the event came during the grand finals of BGIS 2025. Though many of the details for the upcoming tournament are unknown, the organizer shared the kick-off date. On the 22nd of May 2025, the event will start.
There will be two stages of gameplay, starting with the League Stage. From the 22nd of May 2025, 96 teams will battle to reach the top 16. However, the final 16 teams will be from the semifinals 1 and 2, half from each. The LAN final will take place in New Delhi in July. BMPS 2025 will end after commencing a LAN Grand Finals at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, from July 4th to 6th.

The league stage will start with 96 teams, and they will play for three rounds until it comes down to 32 teams for the semifinals. There will be two weeks of gameplay in the semifinals, where teams will be promoted to the grand finals based on their ranking in each week. Prize Pool
There will be a huge prize pool of INR 4 crore (almost $470,000). No wonder that the champion will grab the lion’s share while the other teams will get as per their ranking after the end of the tournament.
And following a recent announcement from the Esports World Cup Federation, the champion team of this event will qualify for the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025, making it the first time for any Indian team to join a global event of PUBG Mobile after the game introduced an India-exclusive version of it.

TMG Esports is the champion of BMPS 2025
Amidst so much drama and controversy, the BMPS 2025 has finally come to an end with TMG Esports being the champion. The road to touch the glory was never smooth in an event like this. However, the champion managed to finish on top by keeping a four-point gap from the runner-up, NoNx Esports.
The third to the 11th teams were also in hard competition, and a marginal gap between each position was spotted. After the top contenders failed to qualify for the grand finals, the event did lose some color. But at the end of the day, it managed to reach a successful end.

Team SouL won the first edition in 2022, while Blind Esports became the winner in 2023. BMPS 2024 was taken away by Team X-Spark, owned by popular content creator ‘Sc0utOP‘.
